This one is tricky. I agree that bodily mutilation shouldn't be tried at the federal level (although it does seem some of the victims crossed state lines to have the procedure done). At the same time - WTF. [/h]
Why is this being tried at the federal level to begin with?
This woman shouldn't be getting off free. Where are state authorities? Thoughts?

Well did the Dr accept payment ? If so the judge is wrong and they can outlaw it . Also , are there no state laws protecting minors in michigan ?
