I was just wondering if there is any facebook advertising going on for Ron Paul? I am not a big facebook user but I know their advertising platform allows you to choose ppc (pay per click) or cpm (pay per 1000 views). They also let you geo target the ads, and target by different age groups and interests. I am pretty sure anyone with a facebook account can advertise on there. If we have a few people volunteer their time to create banner ads in photo shop we could flood Iowa and New Hampshire facebook users with ads each targeting a different age group and their concerns. It would only be a few dollars per 1000 views. Just something to think about if it is not already happening.

Someone did it for the BTO moneybomb, I think. He spent a few hundred dollars and I'm not sure anything was accomplished.

From my experience Facebook ads get a very low click through percentage. Additionally, only 50% of adults use social media so that ad platform ignores half of the voting demographic. While it is not a bad idea, right now targeted direct mail to registered voters in the early states is a far more cost effective means of advertising. The campaign is doing it, and there are a couple of grassroots groups that are doing it as well.
