If anyone is expected to exit the race, based on Super Tuesday performance, that person is clearly Ggriinch.

I agree!

We got dead last. WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!

Gingrich is not going anywhere. He is still looking at AL, MS, LA, and maybe a few other delegates here and there.
This will be a brokerd convention.

I sure hope so!

Ron Paul could die of a heart attack right now, but we would still convince ourselves that he's winning if we crunched the numbers enough.

Gingrich just pulled out of many speeches. He's not getting the money to go after those states, it's only a matter of time until he drops out.

Hahaha. I think we can crunch the numbers enough to resurrect him as Christ.

Which, of course, we don't want. We really need Gingrich in the race to have the delegate count split enough for an open convention. We need to hope and pray that he's staying in the race because he's such an ego-maniacal buffoon that he thinks he has a chance without making a deal with the other contenders. Gingrich's delegates will go to Santorum, most likely, which allows he and Romney to broker a deal to secure the nomination together.

No one is dropping out. This is going straight to the convention unless Romney manages to sweep the west coast (CA) and Texas. You can pretty much put the entire NE in Romney's pocket though. PA is only battleground left for Santorum/Romney in the Northeast. You've got to hope Romney loses PA and TX.

While I don't disagree with your conclusion, I just don't think this is an accurate way to calculate this -- and not just because it's inaccurate to have Santorum/Gingrich tie for 4th in VA or to have Romney/Santorum tie for 1st in OH or to have PauloverGrinch in WY with only 26% reporting.

A better model (in my opinion) would be the Olympic medal race (temporarily disregarding WY till it's 100% concluded):

The second table's "point method" isn't the best way of calculating delegates or anything, but I'm including it along with the Medal chart because those points are a fairly decent way of calculating momentum because it aggregates voter/media perceptions.

Sure. I'd basically be Ron Paul + more sarcasm. Too bad the debates are over because I'd be the biggest ass ever. And I'd use my influence in the white house to legally change Santorum's first name to 'Frothy'. Invasive? Sure. But it's worth the laughs and hell, I could probably get more people to support that than any other thing government isn't allowed to do

And I'd ban pants. And make 'The Girl from Ipanima' the new national anthem.

We'll have to see about LA.

Dude seriously, we have been completely shut out thus far. Not even a win in Alaska?! If you multiply zero times anything, it is still ZERO!

Get your head out of the clouds, it is all but over. The funding has all but dried up. The elections are nothing but fraud. Ron is taken even less seriously now then he was 2 months ago. The MSM dont even acknowledge he is even running any more.

is third out of 4 contestants supposed to be encouraging? lol
I can understand is there were 10+ running, but there is 4.....3rd out of 4....

i can only hope and pray for a brokered convention now.

The point is that if Ggriinch is still in the game, then Ron is even more so, statistically.
