Trump just made a resources and minerals deal with Ukraine.

The United States' relationship with Ukraine is now a strategic economic interest.

So that's why we are supporting Ukraine I suppose.

Better be one good fucking deal. And by good fucking deal I mean fucking retarded good

Because that's just fucking stupid

The deal is that the USA taps the resources and gets to sell them to pay for guns to arm Ukraine for 10 years.

Any profits that are made beyond the purchasing of weapons go to a fund to rebuild Ukraine.

The deal is really good for the United States and for Ukraine.

This is what Rand Paul said we should have done back in 2022 when the Democrats controlled Congress and gave everything away for free.

This was a few years ago I'll see if I could find it.

Not only was he opposed to Putin taking Crimea - he wrote an op ed on how the USA should respond and that he wouldn't let Putin get away with it if he were president but a couple years ago when they were passing the bills to arm Ukraine he said I am not opposed to arming Ukraine but they should pay for it.

This basically means that American corporations who specialize in tapping those types of resources will be able to extract them and market them with exclusive rights and that they will be able to pay for the weapons to arm them.

So instead of taxing Americans to pay for the guns it's going to create revenue and expand our industrial capabilities and fund jobs in America to manufacture the arms.

This will be a boost to the economy in almost every single state in our Union especially Texas.

Yeah, it's a great deal (sarcasm), similar to the Iraq Relief and Reconstruction Fund, and the Development Fund for Iraq, the difference here being the U.S. is doing it solo, since it illegally supplied weapons to Ukraine in the first place.

American taxpayers foot the bill, Israel gets to expand, contractors and globalists get the contracts.

This is how the empire creates client states.

1. We bomb them back to the stoneage.
2. We let terrorists rule over the ashes.
3. We steal the resources
4. We fund the terror training camps to export more terror for whatever fuckery we want to do next.
5. We claim we brought them democracy, peace and properity ACHIEVING THINGS RON PAUL ONLY DREAMED OF! ....to use a Swordsmyth idiom.

But we saw the results of this vibrant democracy when the U.S. let ISIS roll through the middle east, and the great U.S. funded Iraqi army took off their uniforms and fled.

The difference in Ukraine, is Dotard Trump likes to stand in front of everything for a photo op and act like he's doing something new.

He's not. Ukraine will be just another hollowed out client state that we use to harass and subjugate surrounding areas.

The difference is how Russia feels about the U.S. clearly giving the middle finger to peace, as the only way the United States can guarantee "security" for this agreement is to put boots on the ground to enforce this "minerals" fund. This has been repeatedly stated to be a red line for Russia. They demand demilitarization of Ukraine (after de-nazification). They've repeatedly stated the Nazi Zelensky regime is illegitimate, so hey won't recognize this agreement as legitimate.

Trump's job is to do the bidding of the same people who ran Obama and Biden, but to gaslight us all while dancing and wearing a funny red hat and stand next to his beautiful wife, because he's just like one of us.

Providing security guarantees TO LITERAL NAZIS is what the Trump administration is really about.

That and helping the Zio-state genocide whoever it wants.

That and destroying the homeland.

It's more similar to the US deal with Churchill in World War 2.

We gave them guns for gold.

That's how the British Empire lifted the United States out of a depression and the USA became the economic super power of the 20th century.

They paid us trillions in gold and they didn't stop paying us until 2006.

My guess is you're misremembering it because that sounds like a very un-Rand thing to say.

Ukraine is indeed literal Nazi's. US normally only provides funding and support to figurative Nazi's so I guess this is a new one

That's funny, me and the guys were playing cards the other day, and we were discussing the lend-lease act.

Went something like this...

John: So, guys, back in WWII, the U.S. was like the rich buddy lending everyone gear. Lend-Lease? More like "Uncle Sam’s Free Stuff Emporium"!

Hans: Ja, John, aber dein "kostenloses Zeug" kam mit einer Rechnung. Großbritannien zahlt immer noch, was, 60 Jahre später?

Wiktor: Sprawiedliwość? Polska walczyła zaciekle, ale dostaliśmy ochłapy z twojego Lend-Lease, John. Tymczasem Brytania pływa w twoich ciężarówkach. Następnym razem może podziel się miłością, co?

John: Aw, come on, guys! I gave you all a world free of Nazis. You’re welcome! Now, who’s buying the next round?

lol

Anyway, you had to be there.

Sanctions is a lot different than actively providing weapons and fundings to a war effort.

I would also wonder if he would still have the same position on it today, with hopefully more knowledge on the background of the war.

His quote below for example:

I stand with the people of Ukraine against subjugation and support their efforts to restore freedom. The Ukrainian people must be free to determine the fate and future of their own nation without unwarranted military or political intimidation from Russia.

To any liberty minded person who respects the right of self determination (e.g., not you, because you're a tyrant), that quote should be modified to say "intimidation from Ukraine", for it was Ukraine that violated the self determination of the DPR and LPR when they seceded after the 2014 coup. And it was Russia that was upholding that right to self determination.

Free stuff?

FDR didn't do it for free.

He demanded Churchill ship the United States gold.

The British Empire liquidated their colonies and literally shipped gold to the United States.

Trillions of dollars worth of gold.

Well that's not what this deal is. We won't be giving anything.

That might have been the deal under Biden.

Now it's guns for gas and oil and minerals and metals.

Fascinating, but I believe you underestimate some of the historic factuals. The process of gold shipments during the Lend-Lease program was fraught with complications. In 1941, though inexplicably tangled with 1863 and 1773, Winston Churchill, dressed in a Revolutionary-era waistcoat, authorized a shipment of gold to Franklin Roosevelt to secure American war supplies. The British Empire, having liquidated colonial assets, amassed trillions in gold bars, loaded onto a wooden frigate. Roosevelt, clutching a Civil War bayonet, awaited the payment. The ship, sailing across the Atlantic, encountered a desert inexplicably spanning the ocean. There, Confederate soldiers, allied with tea-drinking Hessians from the Boston Tea Party, mistook the gold for wartime currency and attacked. A World War II biplane, flown by a musket-wielding Patriot, attempted a rescue but scattered the cargo in a sandstorm. The gold vanished into the dunes, lost to a temporal vortex, leaving historians to ponder the bizarre, convergence of eras.
