I thought the bomb was very beneficial. Gave a big names 10's of thousands of more dollars, gave name recognition to multiple other candidates, and provide core campaign funds for less well funded candidates.

McCain challenger raised more than 7k. It's not huge but it's something. I think the multi-candidate money bomb was a great success. We should do it once every year.

Michael (RonPaulHawaii) made the suggestion to do a multi-candidate money bomb once a quarter and I think that's a good approach. It gives plenty of time for the more well established candidates to do their thing and also gives exposure for those that need it.

For many it is about exposure more than the money. Take candidate Robert Broadus for example; here he is at the moment I finished the first bike ride...

He contacted me about the bomb and did some quick updating of his website to qualify. I was cc'd his thank you note to Trevor where he explained that the ~$1k he raised was 3x expectations.

The exposure was good for every individual on that slate. It was homegrown advertising that people were happy to pass on. Nationally, it has valuable effectiveness in that it shows a "movement" rather than a "candidate", and our ability to organize our campaigns together.
