Duane Whitmer (L) running for Rep. Chris Collins' seat

Duane Whitmer is running as a Libertarian for U.S. House, New York's 27th congressional district to replace Rep. Chris Collins, who recently resigned. Thanks to Larry Sharpe's performance in 2018, Whitmer has guaranteed ballot access. To my knowledge, he is currently the only candidate the LPNY has put up for the U.S. House elections in 2020. I have been involved since the Ron Paul Revolution in 2007. We have nine months experience with Duane Whitmer. He has his own accounting business. He was the former treasurer of a county Second Amendment not for profit, an org which is statewide. He is the present treasurer for the NY Free Libertarian party Inc. Whitmer just switched from Democrat. He is a big government person.

Whitmer came on board because of Larry Sharpe promoting making the Libertarian party bigger. This has brought in many young people in NYLP officer positions. Many of these are rude and too inexperienced.

I suggest to read the below articles. The party has closed ranks to protect Whitmer because he is their "next Larry Sharpe". We do not support Duane Whitmer.
