Drugged up Mother Kills Baby in Washing Machine

Had a cat meet it's maker years ago when she crawled into an open dryer and the ex closed the door and started it.

That story aside, what more to say about this story other than how sad it is?

Will be used as fodder by the sheeple to call for moar drug war and moar CPS.

How is this general politics issue? Come on mods, move this sick shit.

I agree with AF.

I could try to list all the stupid things sober mothers did to kill their babies in 2010, but there's a character limit.

So what do we clamor for control now?

No more drugs?
No more washing machines?
No more babies?
No more mothers?
No more women?

or is this more an issue for regulation.. such as:
No more spin cycles on washing machines?
Reduce the speed of the spin cycle so washing clothes takes 6 hours longer?
Oxygenate all water so that you cant drown from breathing in water?

Maybe they need to electrocute the great aunt.. after all she was there.. and if only she had just gotten there quicker....

It's meant to be sarcastic, I know, but some of your questions/suggestions are actually good starting points... FOR THE PRIVATE SECTOR. It would be neat to see a major washing machine company come up with a solution to this, or a company arrive at a retrofit that would make the machines safer. This is akin to the fact that people used to get locked in walk-in freezers, or in trunks, and now there are solutions to that.

But yeah... Government will get involved and ensure the solution isn't the least bit elegant or profitable.

Unless Joey bag of donuts put you in a trunk, your drunk frat friends convinced you to get in the trunk, or some redneck let their kids play in their beatup chevy's trunk, I know of know one, heard of know one, never saw on the news of no one being locked in a trunk, by accident.

Who in the hell impregnated this?
