They can only cover so much for the politicians and the federal government. Eventually, the dam of reality is going to be broken. Economically speaking, the U.S. is on the precipice of a disaster as opposed to a recovery.

Yea because we won't be able to capitalize on Independents as much as Ron did given their different styles and the fact that there will also be a competitive Democratic primary for Indies to partake in.

For Rand to win the primary, he will have to focus solely on winning over the Republican primary electorate, which nearly nominated someone like Santorum.

In some respects, we are the weak link. We in the Liberty Movement will have to decide whether we are willing to become more than theorists but also successful, winning, political activists. Some of the debates will get scary as our candidate may decide that we need to cut our military bases from 900 to 75, instead of zero. He will be backing us away from the abyss, on his own timetable and it may be too rapid for the general public and not enough for some of us.

I live in a very D county in Ohio, was a cofounder of our teenage Republicans years back so I assume it would be pretty easy for myself to get involved. Precinct committee and what not? I'm clueless, and I want to get started on the ground lol.

There is plenty of info here on the forums (look for the ohio subforum), it has to start with getting involved in your local gop meetings.
