Before I caught Ron Paul in the debates in 2007, I would have never thought I would run for office. But the movement inspired me to help people get elected, then run when I had no one to help. We are the change, not the neo-cons or the Obama types. Sure we lost a few battles this year but so did our founders! We live to fight on. Now, go donate!

I support you, but our of curiosity, what specific legislation do you want to get passed, and do you have higher political ambitions?

Kentucky has a major state pension problem, so combined with the fake "balanced budgets," we have a serious fiscal situation. So, most of my specific legislation would deal with pension and debt reform, first and foremost (a lot would depend on committee appointments and pull). Read about some of my ideas for pension reform here.

Tax reform is another serious issue. Our state needs to lower, if not eliminate, the state income tax, pass Right To Work legislation and stop borrowing for bigger government.

I thought about running for state senate but didn't think I could raise enough money to compete but turns out I may have been wrong, so I wouldn't rule running for that seat out, in the future, if I could win this. My US Congressmen is Ed Whitfield.
 
P.S. Kentucky races are generally cheaper than races elsewhere. My primary cost around $11,000. This general should be around $40,000.

OMG!!! Which counties and cities are you running to represent??? Is Madisonville part of your district? I think I may have relatives that live in your district (their representative is Rep. Whitfield as well...he is terrible.) Please let me know so I can encourage them to vote for you (which they probably will anyway since they vote Republican completely down-ballot) :)...but just to be sure.

By the way...you would make a GREAT Congressman over RINO Whitfield. I applaud your hard work and wish you luck this November!
