Donate NOW to boost Ron Paul in the California straw poll!

The California RLC has funds earmarked to purchase about 100 more CA GOP convention tickets this Saturday, the day of the straw poll. The robocall described here will be used to attract an additional ~100 Ron Paul supporters to the straw poll.

I estimate that I can get straw poll voters for about $10 each in Los Angeles, so our goal is to raise $1,000.00. This needs to be raised by Thursday afternoon at the latest so that the robocall can be run Thursday night, allowing for a full day of follow-up phonebanking on Friday.

It's actually quite helpful to post your donations in this thread because Jun won't be able to get a meter working by Thursday and will rely on manual updates from John Dennis.

Is robocalling the effective way to get more Ron Paul supporters to the straw poll in this situation? I wonder if it would be better to use the money towards more tickets than robocalling. There's a lot of Ron Paul people in the LA area, but some might not want to pay for the ticket or have transportation.

People should still donate, but that might shift some money to tickets as opposed to calling depending on how many people can be found.

The CA RLC has already been contacting known Ron Paul supporters for a couple weeks. They are now seeking new Ron Paul supporters.

I haven't heard anything, but I can't imagine the Ron Paul campaign spending money on the CAGOP convention but not the VVS. I would guess that they might be secretly targeting Christian supporters of Ron Paul in the DC area first, given the great lengths they went to in making sure only Iowa Ron Paul supporters went to help at the Iowa straw poll.
