Why? If there's an ulterior motive, why not suss it out and expose it? What snowflake sensitivity do you have that makes this hard for you to take?
Knowledge is power. We don't always get to the bottom of things, but when we do it helps us all. Why should we ignore clues just because we approve of them?

How about that? Instead of complaining about people looking for ulterior motives, why not just let it pass and talk about what's in the thing instead? Make it interesting to the layman, instead of bitching and calling people names like Swordy always does when people wander off the path.
