The people at the American Conservative Union, the CPAC organizers, will see the results. These people want to sell as many tickets as possible, the more votes for Rand the more likely they will be to give him another prime speaking slot, or even perhaps the keynote.

Even if that doesn't end up materializing, it's just as worth pushing this poll harder than most other ones because it could influence the biggest political event of the year and Rand's place at that event.
