I know that Rand is at Arizona State U today. I believe it starts in about an hour. I've been searching the net and I'm not finding anyone planning on live streaming the event. I admit that CSPAN has done a pretty good job of covering rands events but TV just isn't the same as live streaming. I really miss the days of surri fish and friends. I watched much of 2012 through their eyes and was thrilled to finally meet them in person at the sun dome.

I've look at periscope but I don't understand how to look for content. I'm not sure I get periscope at all.

I'm probably not looking in the right places. Can anyone help?

I miss the podcast. The Ron Paul podcast (http://ronpaul2012.podbean.com/) was a great way to keep up with the campaign. You'd hear all the local radio/tv coverage of the campaign that you probably wouldn't hear unless you lived in all the areas. That guy did great work. I'm guessing that he doesn't support Rand.

News coverage:

TEMPE, AZ - Another presidential candidate made a visit to the Valley Friday.
This time Rand Paul made the trip and spoke in front of a large crowd at ASU. Many in attendance were students, wanting to hear what the Republican candidate had to say about getting control of student loans, the job market and immigration.
"I personally believe that immigration is the social issue of our time," says German Cadenas. Cadenas is a student at ASU. "I think this is an issue that is going to define our next president."
The Maricopa County Republican Party says it's happy to have Paul in the Valley and speaking to young people.

"We know that millennials are going to make up a significant portion of the electorate in the very near future," says Jake Hoffman with the GOP. "They're going to be a critical component to our country in the next few years."
Paul was scheduled to sit down with ABC15 for a one on one interview but avoided all media and abruptly left the ASU campus following Friday's rally.

The other problem is that the grassroots meetups and enthusiasm are largely gone.

A lot of truth there. College kids came away from Ron speaking racing one another to get something on youtube; they were a part of a greater social revolution, not a political campaign. For better or worse Rand comes across as focused on playing capture the flag w/ POTUS.

host, downplaying the event

lol... it was at a COLLEGE... he was complaining there were too many young people - that's great, cause when I saw Rand speak I thought there were too many old people - but then I realized.... it was a COMMUNITY CENTER!!

Context is important.

Not sure why he is being referred to as an obscure candidate if he is polling better than the rest of the field against Hillary and is consistently in the top 4....

Hell yea, the only thing better than being at a political event is watching it streaming on the internet!

Love that stuff!
