Do We Need 'The America Party'?

something needs to change fast. the Magtards are now openly bullying anyone in this party that does not go along with the nonsensical debt cycle

They went from the enemy of our enemy to being our enemy

.

They (Magatards) were never “enemies of our enemies.”

They have always been hard-core, mortal enemies of liberty and anyone who actually supports and tries to advance it. Whether that’s due to ignorance/stupidity ir evil intent really doesn’t matter. The effect is the same either way. People who actually do advocate for liberty get stabbed in the back by people they foolishly assumed to be allies.

Same old, same old.

I've come to the conclusion that freedom just isn't that important to most people.

And that includes virtually everyone (if not everyone) on this board.

I wouldn't say not important. I would say that a lot of us have come to the realization that it is never going to happen, Once you hit that point, all you care about is looking out for #1.

If Musk is going to spend his money to get on the ballot in all 50 states and run reasonable, experienced candidates with a chance to win then sure we could use his party. If he is going to spend his money to split the GOP vote as a fuck you to Trump, then no.

Even if it was likely to happen, most people in general would flee from real, genuine freedom as if it were the plague - especially if they were being offered "free" shit in exchange for their liberty. (Other things equal, "free shit" always trumps freedom - that's why so many politicians in democracies peddle the former and rarely offer the latter outside of lip service.)

While I would prefer real freedom, I take all the free shit the government offers for two reasons. First, it was stolen from us via taxes, so get it back any way we can. Second, it's better I take it than an illegal. I don't need or rely on it, but I take whatever I am eligible for.

I don't blame anyone who does that. But that's not the scenario to which I was making reference.

If offered a choice between "real freedom" (with all its attendant drawbacks, such as self-responsibility, accountability, uncertainty, etc.) and "free shit" (with all its attendant - and mostly illusory - attractions, such as stability, safety, security, etc.), most people in general will prefer the "free shit".

Again, this is why a great majority of politicians under any system of mob rule (i.e., "democracy") will always pander to the much larger "free shit" group, rather than to the much smaller "real freedom" group.

That is why no one is coming to save us, and why we are not going to be able to vote our way out of this.

And that's why the "America Party" (or the Libertarian Party, or the Whatever Party) isn't going to make any significant difference when it comes to achieving genuine liberty. (And that goes double for the already long-established Democrat and Republican parties.)

Even if you did "contribute" in the past, you are still looting from me now and in the present. What makes you any better than an "illegal" when said "illegal" is not eligible for anything - until said "illegal" becomes "legal", who then contributes via taxes?

All I smell is a hypocrite, which is 1. why my taxes keep going up, while at the same time 2. my freedoms are being eroded.

IMO [and as a matter of fact], you are worse than an "illegal".

Quite telling, in and of itself: "I don't need or rely on it, but I take". Obummer/Biden/Commie forums are thataway --------->

We both know this country will never be fixed. I do what I can to protect #1. You cling to your theories about how it should be.

Nope won't make any real difference. Just prolongs the inevitable.
