This is a thread to look at from democratic underground ... just peruse, no trolling or flaming please, OK? They are nice folks, and so should we be. Just look at the people talking about it who are really non biased ... nationwide.

They also have a great sense of humor ... my favorite line:

"I saw his face on a pancake at IHOP." ... OMG LMFAO!

Great to read how impressed they are!!! Seems every other post is about today i seen a blimp, here in cali i see so many RP signs. Here in VA all i see are RP signs..

Wow.

A lot of those people are very hard line dems. To even see some of the positive comments about RP, even if they don't support some of his views is encouraging. There will ALWAYS be the extreme thinkers that either don't like the facts, don't know the facts, don't wanna know the facts or distort the facts that make certain comments. I'm sure there are some in here just like that.

Overall i think it is a very positive message, his support is EVERYWHERE and visible for all to see. The only ones not covering it are the media.

Wow! But this is nothing new. My buddy went on vacation in Orlando, Florida this summer and came back shocked at how many Ron Paul signs there were everywhere. At the time he didn't know much about Ron Paul. Now he's planning on voting for the guy.

Those that haven't "found" Ron Paul receive small shocks when they see masses of RP signs for the first time, completely crowding out those for other candidates. It's a subconscious reaction to the conflict between what they are witnessing, and their understanding that the media reports reality. It may be the first time that many witness a frightening suggestion: that the media fears reality.

The shockwaves may be more intense if someone can read into the situation more deeply as it unfolds in front of their eyes. If the media fears reality, then what hope is there for a population that depends on the media for its perceived reality?

And therein lies the curiousity. A candidate gets massive credibility just from the merest impression that the media might want to ignore him. But the scale of this puzzle is immense: giant corporations adoring a clutch of uniform politicians speaking uniform lines, while marginalising the single stand-out candidate that is adored by their audiences.

In short, Ron Paul is getting a lot of people extremely interested in what he has to say.

Keep in mind that a handmade sign shows a different level of support then just the store made ones. If someone has a handmade sign you can be damn sure they are going to be at the polls when it matters.

I don't know when a person admits they steal a sign because they're tired of seeing them because it's not of their candidate. To bad the Dems are for a welfare state. I really think our revolution of love peace and prosperity is catching on.

I liked this one:

I saw a Ron Paul BLIMP flying over VA today...over Norfolk headed north. It was a rather surreal experience to see it flying right over Naval Station Norfolk...I don't know how that got clearance for that. A coworker says he heard it flies around here because of the rules against political billboards. A blimp is in constant motion, so billboard rules don't apply.

Also, they seem to think that the campaign is purchasing all of the signs. I think they can't comprehend something that isn't a monolithic top-down project.
