I keep thinking about how Hitler had to kill off the SA first...
... before he and his thugs could seize control of the country. It seems like, by driving out the Cheneys and Kinzingers, they've finished their "night of the long knives".
When Trump calls his defeat fraudulent (or I reckon he'll say rigged) and "asks" his drones to "patriotically protest" at the 50 electoral college meetings in December, do you really expect Lindsey Graham or Susan Collins to have the backbone to say "No, that's not the way we do things in America"?
They will line up in March along with the crowd, like Republicans always do. I give 50/50 odds that under those circumstances, there will be a assassination attempt on Mitt Romney.

Fortunately...
Mitt can afford to hire plenty of security. If someone does make an attempt on him, I expect he'll be well-protected. At least I hope so!
