Today a local morning radio show was taking calls about the ABC debate. I heard a guy call in and bash Mitt Romney for not being a people person and being a flip-flopper and then say that's why "we" support Newt. So, I had to call in. I called and said I didn't really like either one of them because they're not true conservatives. They have flip-flopped so many times and they were definitely republicans, but not conservatives. One of the hosts asked me if i seriously thought Ron Paul could get 51% of the vote in the general election to beat Obama and was going on about how we need to be strategic here. I started to ask him if he could tell me the difference between Obama's foreign policy and Gingrich/Romney's and he started to say something but then the commercial break kicked in. So I called back and they let me back on to answer the question saying that the host "angered a Ron Paul supporter". I told them I wasn't angry, but just wanted to answer the question. Anyway, I pointed out how winning the general election would be a cake walk for Ron Paul because he owns the independant vote and democrats that voted for Obama because they didn't want more expensive wars would vote for the Dr. We debated a bit more before they said they had to let other callers get in.

The VERY next caller was a woman that said she totally agreed with me that none of the other candidates could get Democrats to vote for them. She said Ron Paul was the only one who could beat Obama because Newt will only get Republicans to vote for him. After she got off ANOTHER Ron Paul supporter called in and said the same things and how he was the only one with the guts to stand up for the constitution and if you vote for Gingrich/or Romney you will be getting more of the same. At that point they went to commercial break and I was late for class, but I have been calling into that show after debates for months and never heard anyone call in and agree like that. I think that people even in Florida are starting to wake up to Dr. Paul! I also know that some members of my church that didn't like him last time are supporting him this time, because they just can't vote for newt or romney.

That is awesome! Could you just imagine winning Florida?

What station was this? Does it have a large audience?

When asked how Newt Romney is different than Obama you will never get a real answer to the question other than superficial ones, because there is no difference. If there was an easy cure for the horrible partisanship disease we would be polling 75% in every state right now but until its found, continue to give them heavy doses of Ron Paul !

Well, that is certainly not likely to happen with the neoconized state of Florida towing the party line. Nice thought though. :D

I used to listen when I lived in Ormond. Marc Bernier has a good show usually
I don't know what to think of Marc because he acts positive about Ron Paul but at other times he scoffs at him and one day a bunch of us called in on radio roulette(last 6-7min of the show, no call screener and you get 11 seconds to say something) and were saying pro Ron Paul type stuff and he was like "HE's Not gonna win!". So frustrating, but I call in regularly to give a different perspective. I think he's supporting Gingrich though.
