Daytime TV show hammering Rand...

I was flipping through the tv earlier to find the weather channel and for a split second, i heard the name Rand Paul while I was flipping. And so I flipped back and it was one of those daytime talk television shows that I assume are geared toward women. Man, they were hammering junior pretty bad. And it was all under the cloak of women being respected or something. It was interesting that when the camera panned to the audience that all of them were women and every one of them had a sour face and were shaking their heads in disapproval of Rands so called attack on women. It was pathetic. I don't know which show it was. I think Meredith Vieira was hosting the show. And man was she and her guests bashing Rand Paul in a major way.

That's what I get for turning the tv on, I suppose. I never do. I should have just went to weather.com. Heh....

Edited to add video of the show...

Tell the campaign I'd be happy to interview him and rudely interrupt him so he can be seen shushing a man.

When did being a female become carte blanche for being rude, and doing a damned poor job (in the case of these reporters, a damned poor job of getting answers to their questions)?

I agree with you but, man, once those daytime shows get in the mix, it's trouble in the worst way. All those shows do is rot brains. Well...in my view, anyhow.

We need to get ahead of this and produce a slew of hilarious youtube vids lampooning the hell out of these reporters.

We sent a woman in to be rude to him and keep him from answering her own questions, and he shushed her! Oh, joy! Can we find a black person so rude as to hound him into shushing them? I'm sure we can!

Start looking for a rude, motormouth native American! They're kind of hard to find, but it'll be worth it! Think of all the moral indignation we can fake if we do!

Great Idea! The campaign should definitely make some parodies of these interviews

No big surprise here.

I'll admit I missed the "shushing" incident that is prompting this (link please, I was out of pocket for the last few days) but the fact is the "liberty message" fails with women, as a demographic.

Women, as a voting bloc, consistently vote for more, and more intrusive, government.

What they did was actually show two "shushing incidents". One from a few weeks ago and then this last one with whatserface. I don't have a link, though. Maybe someone else does.

Here's the shushing he gave to Kelly Evans....

Here's the most recent with Savannah Guthrie....

Here is the video of the talk show I mentioned in the op but it doesn't show the whole conversation, unfortunately. Trends are critical to watch, though. Which, I suppose everyone already knows.

Anyone with a youtube account would do well to comment. It's Meredith's youtube channel.
