Dr Dan's supporters haven't taken there anti-Conway stuff down yet at http://www.therealjackconway.com/ .

Some question if they will? There's been rumors that Mongiardo's refused to endorse Conway. At the very least, he hasn't done it yet.

Philosophically I think Mongiardo might have more in common with an anti-establishment, anti-corporatist Constitutionalist then Conway.

This race was about the Establishment vs the anti-Establishment. The establishment won the Democrat primary. The anti-establishment won the Republican. Their are freedom wings and their are fascist wings of both parties. It’s not about Democrat vs Republican. It’s about the people vs the political class. Like Rand, Mongiardo represented the people of his respective party. I wish him well.

Let's get all these anti-conway sites to the top!

Way back when at Fancy Farm, I specifically remember a couple of Mongiardo supporters (wearing his shirts and had his signs) that were walking by our group after the event and they told us "... hey, we really like your candidate." A couple of us remarked at the time that this was a good thing for the general.

Heh, I thought it was amusing that the hecklers that caused Conway's "Son of a B****" slip were overwhelmingly Paul supporters, not Mongiardos as the Media played up in articles days after the event. They may have appreciated the support.

The only people that did not get heckled were Rand and Darlene Price on the Dem side. She was halfway respectable

Unfortunately I think the spin on the CRA issue turned some of them off. There was a Dem blog that supported M that when it went off line had a 'support Rand Paul' screen pic (and an offer to sell the blog to someone who wanted to keep it up). However, they went back in and marked it up as if he were Hitler (little mustache etc) and with an arrow going through his head and an X through the 'support Rand Paul'. So the media assassination has at least had SOME effect.

Hopefully, between now and the general, they will figure out the truth.

good news in that he 'came out of retirement' and updated his page about a basketball scandal so now there is nothing there about Rand, at all. Which is at least better than how it was. (just checked.)

Well, I wouldn't look for Mongiardo to come out and endorse Rand or anything. However, I think the lack of interaction between Mongiardo and Conway says something to most of Mongiardo's voters: don't vote for Conway.

Actually, one angle I think we need to try is when the Mongiardo tapes where Mongiardo trashed Beshear came out, Conway was trying to buddy up to Steve Beshear trying to get some of his "mojo" to rub off on him. There are tons of lovey-dovey statements by Jack about Beshear. Now that Beshear is becoming about as popular as Obama in KY, we could probably try to press that. Besides, from the last state poll that I saw, something like 40% of Dems in KY disapprove of Beshear. These are the same people Mongiardo is popular with.

We need to be careful and not lay down with the dogs in order to get Rand elected. I don't want any of us to catch corruption or corporatism.

I know what you're saying. And with Mongiardo, I have great hopes for getting a lot of his supporters to be open to our message, but let's be honest, Daniel Mongiardo isn't exactly Captain Ethics either. The fact that he filed ethics charges against Mongiardo speaks to how low CONway is.
