This is an S 604 bomb today. All 4 contacts are Senators. Contact them about getting on board with S 604 "The Federal Reserve Sunshine Act of 2009".

Today's Victims: Senators- Arlen Specter D-PN, Bob Casey D-PN, Charles E. Schumer D-NY and Evan Bayh D-IN. As requested, I am focusing on some Democrats today. Arlen Specter and Bob Casey both represent Pennsylvania. I was asked by a fellow forum member from the state to help him out with these two, so let's help their state out. Charles Schumer and Evan Bayh are both members of the Senate Banking Committee, where the bill currently sits with 20 cosponsors.

Bombs away!

I e-mailed both Specter and Casey about a week ago and I got an e-mail back from Casey's office this morning.

Here's just one quote from it.

"The bill has been referred to the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs, of which I am not a member. Should the legislation come before the Senate for consideration, I will keep your thoughts in mind. "

Is he saying that he hasn't gotten a chance to sign it yet?

That is the same response they all send when they don't want to cosponsor the bill. "We will keep your views in mind if it comes to a vote... blah blah blah". That only means write them back yet again!
