A bit disappointed (though not surprised) that Cruz is surrounded exclusively by crazies. He didn't even try to include anyone remotely close to "realist" foreign policy, let alone a non-interventionist.

Jim Talent, Elliot Abrams, Andrew McCarthy, and Victoria Coates are all pure neocon though the article seems to indicate the group is somehow diverse. His top adviser seems to be Frank Gaffney, whose claim to fame is he does seminars on how Grover Norquist is a secret Muslim.

No, Trump lately is speaking out FOR an endless war in Syria. 30,000 troops! Get your facts straight, Trumpkin.

Trump is the most anti-war candidate left.. maybe he could get the liberatarian nomination and ditch the war mongering rep party. Trump would get at least 25% of the vote for the libertarian party in nov which would give them a big boost up for 2020.

Ridiculous.

First of all, Trump's anti-war credentials are nebulous at best. In one breath he says something palatable, and then in the next he talks about "bombing the shit out of them", and sending 20 to 30 thousand U.S. ground troops to Syria.

Beyond that, there's much more to libertarian ideology than non-interventionism. On every score relating to the core values of economic freedom, Trump fails.

No way on God's green earth could Trump get the Libertarian nomination.
