Counterfeiter Cartoon

I'm an avid Murray Rothbard reader, and it seems like in every article or book he writes, he incorporates a reference to an old New Yorker magazine cartoon with a group of counterfeiters watching their printing press as the first counterfeit bill comes rolling off, and one of them says "Boy, retail spending in the neighborhood is sure in for a shot in the arm."

Does anyone have a graphic of the original cartoon?

I've noticed these cartoons are all pretty much from within the last 25 years or so. I've gotten the impression that the comic that Rothbard refers to is much older than that. Anyone know any place with really old New Yorker cartoons?

It was difficult to find because Rothbard misquoted the caption as "Boy, retail spending in the neighborhood is sure in for a shot in the arm."

The actual caption is: "Boy, is local retail spending in for a shot in the arm!"
