Could someone ID this sore for me?

I know this might seem strange to ask here, but I honestly don't know what better place to ask in.

I have this rather nasty looking and painful sore on my uvula and I was wondering if any of you might be able to identify just what kind of sore it is (assuming it is a sore) and the best way to treat it. It looks like a scab from what I can tell, with a dark-brownish tint, and it seems to be concave- no major swelling either. My throats been hurting for about 2 days, and I just noticed the sore in my throat about an hour ago.

You appear to have an infection you might try swishing your mouth and throat with some hydrogen peroxide.

Doesn't look good to me..but I am not a Doc...so obviously I would go to a DR ASAP if I were you...your tongue also looks impacted...good luck.

I'll just say that I had my uvula cut out a few years ago and it's quite uncomfortable having liquids (like spit) frequently going up my nose. Probably don't want to mess around with it if it worsens.

That looks painful. I'd go see a doctor on the double. Those walk in clinics are usually reasonably priced if you don't have insurance or the cash for an office visit at your regular doctor. Hope you get feeling better soon buddy.
