The Detroit News political columnist is full of angst that the write-in is messing up her campaign.

But if voters come into the booth and all they remember is that Bentivolio is a goofball, as xxxxx informed them, but can't remember what they're supposed to do next, she's toast.

Add to xxxxx' challenge her inability to raise much additional campaign funds beyond the $200,000 she kicked in herself. Political experts predicted a successful write-in effort would cost more than $1 million.

Apparently the writer's voters are too stupid to remember a name and then write it in. Good for us.

in Louisiana, candidates are given numbers for the illiterate.

when the campaigns bus in their bought votes from the uneducated parts of the populace, they simply give them a slip of paper with numbers on it. match the number and vote.
