, A MUST READ 100% TRUE ACCOUNT
Hello,

On Saturday morning, May 10, 2008, I attended the District 1 Annual meeting of the Colorado Federation of Republican Women. Unbeknownst to me, the 2-hour meeting would end up being an atrocious display of anti-Republican behavior.

In this letter, I will give the details from the meeting that were repugnant. Before I begin, I feel compelled to state that I could not believe I was in the presence of Liberty-loving people who stood by and were involved in this complicity. As the Republican National Committee Party Rules state (in the first paragraph), "BE IT RESOLVED, That the Republican Party is the party of the open door. Ours is the party of liberty, the party of equality of opportunity for all and favoritism for none."

The headlining speaker was Michael Eddy from the McCain campaign. I knew something was fishy about this person, as the card attached to each of the 30-some roses he had delivered to the meeting on behalf of the McCain campaign had, on one side, a personal endorsement to support him as a delegate to the State or CD Assembly/Convention .

Mike spent the last quarter of his speech discussing his knowledge about the "large contingency" of Ron Paul supporters in Colorado. He said he was fine with electing people who were Romney supporters to be National delegates, but not Ron Paul supporters. He said delegates should be "loyal" Republicans and Ron Paul supporters are not. He said we should not elect people as delegates who will get to the National Convention and "light their hair on fire". He said Ron Paul supporters would be a disgrace to the Republican Party.

He went on to state that they know that there are about 50 delegates for Ron Paul who will be at the CD 1 Assembly. He brought up what occurred with another state's convention and said that the National organization (RNC) is working closely with the remaining states' organizations to ensure Ron Paul delegates do not get elected. He said the National Committee will be having a conference call with the Colorado State Republican Party Committee on Monday (5/12) to discuss this. He further explained that they would accomplish this by changing the Rules prior to the convention and additionally coming up with their own slate.

After Mike spoke, other members in attendance echoed his inflammatory statements about Ron Paul supporters. Ruth Dolan, president, spoke in agreement with Mike Eddy's statements, as well as other officers. One officer warned everyone to be very "prudent" because there are people among us whom are "wolves in sheep's clothing".

I recognized other Ron Paul supporters in the room, so I know I was not the only one who left the meeting in complete disgust that Republicans could conspire against other Republicans in such a way. This is energy that should be directed towards Democrats, not fellow Republicans!

please tell me why im taking 2 days off work and spending my time trying to support the NAZI PARTY. YES I'm A REGISTERED REPUBLICAN who likens the republican party to the NAZI PARTY..... This revolution must move on without the Nazi Party .

We have associated ourselves with Nazi's ,we must seperate from these nazi's ASAP or we kill our message because we have the republican name next to us aka NAZI's.

I think i have steam rolling out my head

This is so foul on so many levels.

I'm so livid. we should start making anti-McCain signs with a Nazi symbol behind it..

The grassroots republicans should really start thinking about leaving the republican party in mass. I'm truly dumbfounded. If this revolution is to go further we must leave the Nazi party(republican GOP Nazi's). This is outrageous.

The NAZI's were way more organised than this. If you screwed around witht he party line then you just disappeared. Credit where credit is due.

The GOP is an utter shambles at the moment.

If the grassroots republicans leave the party, where do they have to go besides underground? We know third-party campaigns are doomed. Is there nowhere left to go but to the clock towers?

It isn't the GOP's role to try and win in the General... they're meant to lose dismally, so it appears all is well in "Democracy", and America can be great again because the Bush Administration and Republican party are now out of office & power!! Huzzahh! x 1984.

Seriously though.. its all a show.

Use your anger. Tunnel it in the right direction. Re-double your efforts.

I know this stuff is frustrating, but no one said it was going to be easy. I think we need to stick with it. We are taking small steps at a time which will lead to some success. We just need to keep plugging away. THEY WANT US TO GO AWAY after this convention. Are we going to give in, or are we going to keep fighting?

Try not to get discouraged.....

Time to show these mther fkers how to really stage a silent Coup d'état.

... time to ready those "Real Republicans don't vote McCain" signs..
The neo-conservatives are losing power and it's evident. They might be able to control their little conventions, but come November they'll find defeat on a massive scale and then the finger pointing will begin. They failed miserably in 2006 and they'll fail in 2008.. and they'll try to pin the 2008 loss on the Paul supporters and the 3rd party candidate.

So it's going to be critical to document these blatant moves to oust their own party members - they pushed the Paul supporters out rather than using our grassroots energy to defeat the Democrats. Write letters to the editor of your local paper and make sure the public knows that the GOP is going negative against people in it's own party.

Dennis: Help, help! I'm being repressed!
King Arthur: Bloody peasant!
Dennis: Oh, what a giveaway! Did you hear that? Did you hear that, eh? That's what I'm on about!

Don't be discouraged. Many unfortunate people have been brainwashed and it will take a tremendous loss at the general election before they wake up. This is a revolution that will require vigilance and patience. Don't get frustrated. Use that energy for the next battle and NEVER LOSE HOPE! The changes are happening all around, though difficult to discern or quantify. There is no doubting the effect we as a unified voice for liberty, peace, and prosperity are having on this grief-stricken nation. Souls are being touched daily and the movement grows with each passing day. There is no reason to lose hope. Hope is spreading this message of freedom.

Name calling of the party loyalists is not going to help us win.

If it is true as the speaker says, that the national RNC is working closely with the remaining states to keep out Ron Paul supporters and that they are planning on changing the rules BEFORE the convention, yet after the rules were made at the last convention, they are breaking the rules, as they cannot be changed til the convention this year.

They need to be refuted at every stance in a civil and polite yet authoritive manner.

Anti-McCain signs, should be pro Paul signs instead. Accentuate the positive.
Positive creates more positive. Negative creates more negative.

Wow! I am continually surprised at how extreme these partyliners are.
They must really be scared we will win. Even though they say that Dr. Paul does not stand a chance of getting the nomination, they continually try to put up roadblocks to prevent him from getting a few paltry number of delegates.

It will be an exciting time in Minnesota this year.

Keep on keepin' on.:D

pose as romney supporters.

you can sound just like a ron paul supporter, but wear a romney shirt or somthin.

This party will crumble.
The harder we fight, the sooner it will crumble.
We will be there to pick up the pieces.

ALL wear John McCain shirtssss!!! hahaha.. they wldn't know what hit them.
Or John McCain badges etc... lmfao. >.< but at the same time, hand out ron paul info etc..

Then they fight you...

Really, the only position the establishment differs with Paul on is foreign policy. Unbelievable that they would drive 1,000,000+ conservative voters away over that one issue. How do they justify that, with the massive number of voters who have run screaming into the streets from the GOP over the last 4 years?

It's insane.

The only way the Republican party will change is to suffer a massive defeat in November. Then they'll be forced to rebuild from the ashes.

But if McCain is elected, the Republican party will continue its march to the left since many will claim that McCain's policies -- endless war, open borders, massive deficits (in other words, the Bush doctrine) -- are what the "new" Republican party stands for.

I'm disgusted too about what the GOP has become, but that doesn't mean there isn't hope for the future. But a McCain victory in November will do a whole lot to erase that hope. What are Republicans really losing this time around if a Democrat wins the presidential election? Their policies are basically the same, but the Democrats are less likely to expand the war by going after Iran. Other than that, especially on social issues, there is no difference.

This story displays exactly WHY we should STAY active in the Republican Party. Think of what the establishment is having to do to prevent a Convention take over! We need to push on and not let these corrupt bastards win by leaving (that's EXACTLY what they want).
