Colbert started talking about the pirates, and played a clip of Hillary Clinton saying we needed a "21st century solution to a 17th century problem". And then Colbert said something like, "Fortunately, Ron Paul has an 18th century solution," and then he played a clip from Dr. Paul's interview on MSNBC where he mentioned Marque and Reprisal. Colbert gave an explanation of it, and the audience... made a strange, collective noise. :D

By the way, Colbert told the truth when he said he was warning of pirates for years: :)

I don't see whats so reactionary about it. Just give guns to the boat owners to protect themselves.

I was posting this when it came on.

Colbert, "1812, when the federal government actually defended New Orleans..."

I liked colbert better when he mocked warmongers. Now he mocks the "free" market.

Hah ha ha. That wasn't bad. The audience was just mostly stupid for laughing because they heard "Ron Paul" without even understanding what he was going to say or his positions anyway.
