CNN is a joke- Ron Paul IS First Class!

Yea, CNN is worse than miserable. Reporting on how a few candidates did anything and ignoring the others is selective reporting, and deplorable.

When I use my IP Adress I can see my comment. When I use a proxy it's not there. What is the deal?

I'd like to add that the good doctor's retirement will not be financed by the American tax payer...I think we can cut him some slack here. Who knows...he may have shopped the internet for a first class ticket that was the cost of coach.

i think if he wants to fly first class he should. At least he's not trying to send some message that he is one of the comman man Plus I wouldnt want to fly coach either.

Wow - no way - they ARE censoring posts

I looked at the screenshots from your previous posts and went on the site - I could only see 4 posts (as opposed to the 5 I saw from one of the screenshots).

Geeze... Guess they are only taking a few comments, then discarding the rest.

It is 10:15 EST. I posted a comment a few minutes ago but then they took it off. I waited a few minutes and tried the site again it then went from 4 comments to 9. Maybe who ever was deleting them was told not to.

These are the comments as of 10:15:

That’s weird. Maybe he’s been getting a lot of donations lately?

I wish I could afford to fly first class.

Maybe if Ron Paul were president, I could.

CNN: always covering the important things about politics. Who flies first class? CNN’s got it. What do you think GWB should do in your cabinet? CNN has got the answer. Should gays serve openly in the military? Got it. Why does Bin Laden hate us? Sorry. Will you balance the budget? Nope.

And that is important why??? You are not gonna tell me the rest flew coach - that would be a lie!!

He’s the only first class candidate out there anyway. The rest are just a bunch of suits. Meanwhile, the top 3 are those that the Commy News Network supports and has a clear bias towards.

He deserves it. He’s first class all the way :).

“He is the only one to fly first class”

Probably because he is the only first class candidate.

(And refuses to accept bribes like flying on corporate planes)

How is this news worthly? Perhaps you could write about how Ron Paul differs on the ISSUES with other Republicans rather than flight preference. Because when it comes to the things that matter, CNN likes to pretend Mr. Paul does not exist.

Wow, I didnt realize CNN even knew Ron Paul was in the running. CNN’s next story should be about how badly Ron Paul has beaten every candidate in post debate polls from the American people. It’s funny how everyone knows how bad the Fox news slant is, but it seems they are all together when it comes to trying to smear Ron Paul. Ron Paul is growing bigger every hour of every day. Don’t believe the corporate media, Ron Paul is very popular and only gets more popular when he opens his mouth and the truth spills out. American is “The Home of the Brave.” Being scared is un-American. Be a Patriot, support Ron Paul.

The others, no doubt flew on corporate jets provided by donor companies or lobbyists, with their sizable entourages.

You buried the lede!

Is this detail honestly important, at all? The guy can choose to fly in first class if he so chooses. It’s not like hes flying in a private Jet (Giuliani). This is yet another attempt by the media to slander Ron Paul.

Wow, I hope CNN is enjoying those kickbacks for smearing Ron Paul. How about worrying about more important things? Like how the rest of the candidates want to run around torturing everyone?

CNN took the “Who won the debate?” comments off their site. The comments were 90% in favor of Ron Paul. CNN stoops to new lows again by running an article like this. CNN you’re showing you bias. Is this the only thing you could dig up on Ron Paul? What a laugh.

Hey now it's showing 31 comments. Hilarious! It is 10:30 EST.

Funny they should mention that story...

I met RP at the gate. I was booked (first class...am I condemnable?) on a flight home to NC at the next gate.

What the 'article' fails to mention:

1) RP visited 300 supporters the previous night and signed autographs, shook hands, posed for pics with and talked to EVERY PERSON THERE until the wee hours of this morning.

2) I estimate he slept 2 hours. (Same here, and I am STILL dead tired)

3) He had no assistants, no entourage, got his own ticket at a Kiosk and schlepped his own baggage.

4) What plane it was, how many 1st class seats it had, how far in advance RP booked the flight, whether or not the other candidates were booked or made a last minute decision to take that flight. IOW, there simply may not have been any seats left in 1st when they booked.

5) If the other candidates actually boarded the flight.

I can say this...RP spent 1/2 hour discussing many things with me, during which time, I saw none of the candidates mentioned. This is not to say that they all didn't show up at the last minute and I just didn't see them, but I hafta say, Hmmmmmm.

Finally, I agree with the majority here in the final anaysis...who cares??

...what the hell? It's back to four comments. The page reloaded on its own.

EDIT: I reloaded the page not a minute later and it's back to the way it was. What the hell?

Ron Paul gets no coverage from CNN... but they feel the need to say he is the only candidate to fly first class! He probably had enough miles to upgrade himself- probably because he doesn't fly on corporate jets to congressional junkets. If I was an airline ticket agent Ron Paul is the only guy I would upgrade!

He was the only one who didn't go over his alotted time either. Quite the most respectful candidate on stage, actually.

How do CNN journalists fly?

The media and some of the candidates could fly on "Murdoch Air" operated by News Corp and Ted (Ted Turner)... their planes are powered by flying monkeys ala Wizard of Oz.
