United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Prince Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein -- warns Russia over Syria air strikes
(the same dude who compared Trump & Farage w/ ISIS)

... Zeid said in a statement that the situation in Aleppo demanded bold new initiatives
"including proposals to limit the use of the veto
by the permanent members of the Security Council”,
which would enable the U.N. Security Council to refer the situation in Syria
to the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Russia is a key player in the Syrian civil war
by virtue of its military support for President Bashar al-Assad
and its role as one of five veto-holding powers on the Security Council.

Syrian Islamist rebels shell Russian embassy in Damascus

Russian-Embassy-696x392.jpg

Russian Foreign Ministry said the Russian embassy in Damascus was shelled, today,
from a nearby districts controlled by militant groups.

The Embassy's residential complex was partially damaged in the attack. No casualties reported.

Two other mortar shells landed near the embassy building.

“According to reports, the shelling came from the Jobar neighborhood of Damascus,
which is under control of the terrorist groups Jabhat Fateh al-Sham and Failak ar-Rahman,” the ministry said.

Moscow said the shelling is “result of the actions of those
who, like the US and some of its allies,
provoke the continued bloodshed in Syria
and flirt with militants and extremists of all flavors”,
vowing to take
"all necessary measures" to restore peace and security to Syria.

Russia did not intend to compete with US over Syria: Russian FM

1147826-696x447.jpg

(TASS) Russia did not intend to compete with the United States
for the role of the leader during talks on settlement in Syria,
all efforts were a sincere attempt
to find a peaceful solution to the problem,
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told RT.

"It was not a game of who is stronger and who is wiser.
It was a sincere attempt, over a year,
to find a peaceful solution to the Syrian problem," Zakharova said.

"We were not going to compete with the United States,
we spoke for cooperation.
We spent over 6 months with our American counterparts,
developing provisions on which we would have no differences,"
she told the television channel.

Zakharova said that "now it is absolutely clear"
that the United States has no single position on the Syrian issue,
which became the key problem during talks between the countries.

"It is clear that there are certain forces,
groups of people, parties, who support one option of the issue’s solution,
and other groups of people, who defend the opposite viewpoint.
They imagine the opposite vision of what’s going on in Syria.
This is in my view the key reason why the United States
failed to fulfill the agreements it had signed," she said.

"ISIS Was Not Created for War with Syria,
They were Established to Target the Islamic Republic of Iran"

Iran's Major General Qassem Soleimani has claimed that ISIS and other terrorist groups in Syria
were created to weaken Iran, without specifying by whom.

“Daesh (ISIS) and Takfiri terrorist groups were not created for war with Syria,
they were established to target the Islamic Republic of Iran,” Soleimani said.

“The Syrian government, with the help of Iran,
has been able to withstand pressure and besiegement for five years,
so that the world could admit
that these groups [fighting the government] are terrorists,”.

He also said that without Iranian support, Syria would have been overrun by terrorist groups.

“Today the Takfiris have been defeated... on all fronts," the IRGC commander said, adding,
"I believe that the Syrian people are invincible if they support their government,” he added.

He also stressed that "the EU is paying a heavy security price for supporting terrorist groups" in the Middle East.

Russian UN Envoy Calls On UK Government to Stop Its Colonial Habits

1017209619.jpg

"UK should stop supporting terrorists around the world
and intervening in the internal affairs of the sovereign states,"

Russia’s Envoy to the UN Vitaly Churkin said in answer to the criticism
from the UK and other member of the Security Council.
UNITED NATIONS (Sputnik) – The criticism came after Russia vetoed French draft resolution aiming to end hostilities in Syrian Aleppo.
UK called on Russia to stop its actions in Syria saying they are one of the main reasons of civilian deaths.

In his speech Russian envoy urged the government of the United Kingdom
to stop supporting "motley horde" around the world and abandon its colonial habits.

"Stop intervening in the internal affairs of sovereign states, stop your colonial habits,
leave the world in peace and then, may be, the situation will improve in many areas,"

Churkin said. Churkin also said the UK should stop supporting terrorists
and all those who exacerbate the situation on the ground.
Responding to the criticism in general, Churkin said that "insults don’t distract us from what’s important".

Talk of new Cold War 'over-dramatic', Russian Ambassador tells ITV News

Talk of a new Cold War is "over-dramatic", Russia's UN Ambassador has told ITV News.

Vitaly Churkin said there were some "frictions and tensions" between his country and the USA over the Syria conflict but not on the scale of the Cold War.

US-Russian relations have been strained in recent weeks following the collapse of a ceasefire in Syria and the subsequent bombardment of Aleppo.

On Monday, the US halted attempts to reach a new ceasefire deal with Russia, while elsewhere Russian President Vladimir Putin suspended a deal with the US on the disposal of weapons-grade plutonium.

Mr Churkin, who holds the rotating security council presidency for October, said the problems in Syria were caused by a difference of attitude.

Asked by ITV News Washington Correspondent Robert Moore about talk of a new Cold War, he said: "I think it is over-dramatic.

"Real Cold War is when we're investing enormous resources in order to prepare seriously for a nuclear war against each other. This is not the case now.

"The Cold War is when there is this ideological struggle, communist versus capitalism.

"And the Cold War is competition wherever you can pick up a fight with Americans.

"This is not the case at all. On all those three counts, it's not a Cold War."

Mr Churkin added that there were some "differences" and "clashes of interest" between the two nations.

Seems like the kettle calling the pot black.

Perhaps there's some confusion. My fault.
Who is Boris Johnson & what did he do?

This is Boris Johnson.
A professional, scary smart, bombastic politician and globalist,
previously Mayor of London and member of Parliament..
and now Foreign Minister, appointed by an unelected Prime Minister Theresa May, newly appointed
by the House of Lords, following David Carmeron's resignation, following the Brexit referendum.
Here's a taste of the brilliant bastard.

He's really a thug in a suit and a dangerous adversary with a linguistic talent and a depraved mind.
He can barely barely hold himself back from usurping Theresa May's authority.
He's pompass and brazenly accused Russia of war crimes at BBC interviews & at the UNSC meetings
with the other jackals like Samantha Power..
ALL THE WHILE...
playing the DECIDING voice in QUASHING
last week's call for a FULL UN investigation for War Crimes in Yemen.
He got it 'reduced' to a bureaucratic study and recommendation.
Clearly a hegemon without a soul. Believe NOTHING that comes from his mouth.
Even if it sounds Churchillian.

France to call for Russia to face war crimes investigation over actions in Syria

French foreign minister will ask International Court of Justice to intervene
following Russian veto of UN draft resolution
to reinstate a ceasefire in the Syrian conflict. (aka NO FLY)

The French foreign minister has said he will ask the International Court of Justice to investigate possible war crimes in Syria.

"We do not agree with what Russia is doing, bombarding Aleppo.
France is committed as never before to saving the population of Aleppo," Jean-Marc Ayrault said.

Russia's own rival measure on a truce which called for a ceasefire
but did not mention airstrikes was also rejected.

Both Damascus and Moscow maintain that air strikes target terrorists,
and both US-backed and al-Qaeda linked rebels TERRORISTS inside the city use civilians as human shields.

A Kremlin spokesperson said on Monday that Russian President Vladimir Putin
still plans to visit France as scheduled later this month,
despite developments at the UN
and comments from French President Francois Hollande
about being unsure whether to receive him.

"Preparation for Putin's upcoming visit to Paris continues," Mr Peskov told journalists.

Mr Ayrault said that Mr Hollande will take the current situation in Aleppo into account.
"If the president decides [to see Putin], this will not be to trade pleasantries," he told French radio on Monday.

Syrian opposition member: No-fly zone over Aleppo means repetition of Libya tragedy

1148547.jpg

MOSCOW, October 10. /TASS/. The French-drafted UN resolution calling for a no-fly zone over Aleppo
would lead to a repetition of the Libyan scenario
while the Russian proposal envisaging the exit of Jabhat al-Nusra from the city (de Mistura's PLAN!!)
could clear the way for political settlement, one of the leaders of Syria’s opposition Moscow-Cairo group told TASS.

No Fly Zone Protects Terrorists in Syria: Italian Ex-FM

20161010111329124.jpg

Alwaght- Creation of any no-fly zone over the Syrian city of Aleppo will protect the al-Nusra Front terrorists,
the Italian former foreign minister, Franco Frattini told Russian RT news agency on Sunday.

"It was a mistake from the Western coalition in not highlighting the distinction
between the so-called moderate rebels and… al-Nusra,”
Frattini, who has also served as European Commissioner for Justice, said.

The Italian diplomat said al-Nusra Front terrorists should be the target
of international airstrikes together with ISIS.

Frattini further stressed that the US was pandering
to the interests of its Arab allies in not separating al-Nusra terrorists.

"It’s not mainly the US interest. It’s the interest of Gulf Sunni states that are behind Sunni jihadists…
Saudi Arabia is supporting jihadists, providing weapons. And Saudi Arabia is historically an ally of the US,” he said.

"Sunni states in the Gulf want to liberate Damascus
from Syrian President Bashar Assad and all the Shiite that are there,
not to liberate eastern Aleppo from terrorists,” Frattini added.

"I’m completely convinced that if this point is overcome,
the solution [to the Syrian crisis] will be found,” he said.

The recent resolution draft on Syria,
proposed by the French government to the UN Security Council,
called for a no fly zone to be imposed on Aleppo.
Russia vetoed the resolution.

Frattini rejected the idea of no-fly zone and said
“Let’s not talk simply about the no-fly zone.
I know very well the story of the no-fly zone in Libya.
But now a no-fly zone in an area al-Nusra [controls],
will be protecting an al-Qaeda-affiliated group."

The Italian former minister also rejected claims by the US
that the so-called moderate opposition groups are not separable from al-Nusra terrorists
and said
“it is possible to separate al-Nusra from moderate rebels
because al-Nusra occupy some well-determined areas of eastern Aleppo”
and modern military technologies
“allow [us] to target particularly small areas where terrorists are without hitting innocent civilians".

Afterwards France can be tried for its participation in war crimes against Syria (supporting the arming and funding of terrorists, overthrowing government, invading a sovereign nation's airspace without that nations concerned nor UN approval, bombing the nation, propagating false narratives regarding the false flag gas attack).

Russia remains open for cooperation with US on Syria in all formats — Lavrov

ISTANBUL, October 10./TASS/. Russia remains open for cooperation with the US on Syria in all formats,
the matter depends on Americans, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Monday.

‘We have an open position for cooperation in all formats - in old and new ones. It’s up to Americans.
And it’s Americans who must answer the question what has left (as to Russian-US cooperation on Syria),
as we haven’t suspended anything," Lavrov said.

He reminded that earlier the US said contacts to prevent incidents in Syria were the only remaining.

Last Monday, the US announced it was suspending bilateral diplomatic cooperation with Russia
aimed at a ceasefire and the development of military and intelligence cooperation in Syria.

Lavrov has refused to comment on a possibility of an international suit against Russia over the developments in Syrian Aleppo.

"I haven’t seen any suits, and I am not going to make wild guesses,"
Lavrov said in reply to the query about what could be the future
of initiatives to sue Russia and Syria for Aleppo, mentioned by France.

He said Russia had answered to all this at a session of the UN Security Council
"where the French resolution didn’t get through, and then they axed our resolution
aimed at supporting the initiatives of (UN envoy for Syria Staffan) de Mistura," he said.

"Everything was said there -
where this crisis comes from,
who created Islamic State,
and who created in due time Al-Qaeda,
and then, now in Syria, is reviving its branches," Lavrov said.

Earlier, French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault
told France Inter television that the events of the past few weeks around Aleppo
should be qualified as war crimes and investigated by the International Criminal Court
with punishing for the crimes France maintains
have been committee by Syrian and Russian forces.

Putin shuns Paris visit after France offers talks only on Syria: source

1476185972_.jpg

Russian President Vladimir Putin will not come to Paris next week
after declining to meet President Francois Hollande only for talks on Syria,
the latest deterioration in ties between Moscow and the West.

French officials have been grappling for ways to put new pressure on Russia
after Moscow vetoed a French-drafted United Nations Security Council resolution on Syria.
Their growing anger at events in the rebel-held areas of Aleppo
had led them to reconsider whether to host Putin on Oct. 19.

"There were contacts between the Kremlin and the Elysee this morning
to offer to Putin a working visit on Syria, but excluding all other events that President Hollande could have taken part in,"

"In response to this proposal, Russia has just indicated that it wants to postpone the visit planned on Oct. 19."

The Russian leader was scheduled to inaugurate a new Russian Orthodox cathedral and visit a Russian art exhibition in the French capital.

France's foreign minister said on Monday his diplomats
were working to find a way for the International Criminal Court's prosecutor
to launch an investigation into war crimes.

Diplomats have also said Paris was leading discussions on whether to impose new European Union sanctions
