The Ron Paul Official Campaigns' Website Tote Board, "$12 Million to Win," is probably the most watched Tote Board of its' kind on the internet. All RP Supporters have grown attached and are now quite fond of it.
Alas, change is in the air!!! By midnight, Friday November 30th or just shortly thereafter the Legions of Ron Paul Supporters will have donated their hard earned dollars and conquered the "$12 Million to Win" Goal to Win New Hampshire, Iowa, Michigan, South Carolina and Nevada.
Then what? Rest on our laurels!! No time, if we are to elect Ron Paul President of the United States. Primaries await in Florida on Jan 29th, 2008 and in Maine on February 2nd, just before the Grand Daddy of the them all, Super Tuesday, or if you will the National Primary, when over 20 states will hold their primaries and causes on one day, February 5th. !!!
What does this mean to us and the campaign. If Jonathan Bydlak, RP 2008 Fundraising Director, follows his guidance issued in his Nov. 20th e-mail, then all monies to purchase TV, radio and print media need to be inhand and ready to spend for Tsunami Tuesday no later than January 6th, 2008 or 30 days ahead of the Tuesday of Destiny!!!
With the primary season now going in to a break-neck pace there is no practical measurement that can be taken on a Quartarly basis. We need to measure our progess as dictated by the primary schedule which is now in weeks, not months or certainly not in quarters.
My proposal for changing the "$12 Million to Win" Banner on the Tote Board is this:
Upon reaching the stated goal, the Tote Board will read: $15 Million to Win, in Florida, Maine and on Super Tuesday, February 5th by January 6th.
The dollar figure and dates can be adjusted by the experts on the RP 2008 Official Campaign. I believe that with the Tea Party07 and New's Years Eve Money-Bomb
Events already planned, our Army of RP Supporters can raise $15 million by January 6th. (or in 37 days)
Simply, the primary schedule will change very rapidly in the coming weeks and our goals have to adjust in insure that our leader is elected President of the United States.
Please comment and make your constructive suggestions to this proposal.
