Your friends at the US Chamber of Commerce, working hard on the Socialist, Corporatist agenda:

On Wednesday, Tom Donohue, the president and CEO of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, said his organization would fiercely support the implementation of top-down Common Core educational standards.
...
"Of course the states should adopt and implement the Common Core educational standards, which the Chamber significantly supports," he declared during his 2014 "State of American Business" address.

Its obvious they know what Common Core is. The fact that they support it reveals their true nature, Oppressive.

Support fo Common Core is to support changing children into Workers that are just smart enough to perform their jobs, but not smart enough to do anything other than their jobs. If they were to reject Common Core, it would have shown that they value Education over Schooling (Indoctrination) and a return to a society where Critical Thinking is encouraged.

They want Schools that treat children like a Production Line, Rubber Stamp, Carbon Copy Worker Assembly.

Now, lets attack the idea of "Standards" period. I wear a certain size shoe. You wear a shoe that also has a certain size. If you tried on one of my shoes, it would not feel right. Not comfortable. Too big, too small, too wide, too narrow, just different. This one size fits all solution of "Standards" is absolute BS, and it is known that it does not work. If one size did fit all, there would not even be a need for different shoe sizes. Children are no exception. Every child is given a totally different perspective on the world. They learn different things at different rates. They may already know concepts of reading and writing (provided their parents actively try to teach them), while others may be stronger in Math. Teaching a child that already knows basic addition how to perform basic addition in a very screwed up way (2+2=5 is a right answer?) does nothing but undermine that childs ability to do Math. It bores them. It doesnt challenge them. Then you have the Common Core way of teaching that does nothing but teaches them the worst possible way to do math without teaching them how to understand math.

Thus, it is obvious that this Chamber of Commerce supports OBEDIENCE and STUPIDITY over everything else, and wonder why the US is DEAD LAST in Education.

There are three obvious reasons why the USCoC supports Common Core.

- One is the overall central conditioning and compliance agenda.

- Crony corporations want government to foot the cost to train their future workers. Instead of companies having internships or doing on the job training, they will be able to dictate curriculum to suit their needs and agenda. This will increase the supply of potential workers for these specific companies and roles, reducing wages. It's a centrally planned economy. It does not adapt to market forces, rather education (and curriculum) is purely driven by the whims of a few crony corporatists and central planners.

- The whole idea of "we need better education" is part of their propaganda campaign whose true intent is the importation of more workers. It goes hand in hand with their amnesty and "comprehensive immigration reform" agenda. Once again, it's goal is to increase labor supply and reduce wages.

Here's the Tom Donahue interview with Bloomberg Business yesterday afternoon... worth a watch, especially at the 10:20 mark, talking about a Tea Party candidate Donahue likes, he says, look at the Congressional election in Alabama, he likes the "so-called" Tea Party candidate that won. Little does he or Bloomberg tell you, Tom Donahue and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, bankrolled the shill candidate Byrne, by more than double of the people's Tea Party candidate businessman Young. Fascist candidate that won, Bradley Byrne won 52.5% to 47.5% and there's nothing Tea Party about Bradley Byrne.

Common Core yields odd political allegiances in GOP

Corporatist Chamber of Commerce Gets Behind Establishment Effort to Defeat Tea Party

http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/wireStory/house-swears-gop-congressman-alabama-21467066

Alabama Republican Bradley Byrne, Alabama's 1st Congressional District, was sworn into the House of Representatives on Wednesday after winning a contentious Republican primary that pitted big business ... strong backing of business groups, like the Chamber of Commerce. House Speaker John Boehner swore Byrne in. He was joined on the House floor by his members of the Alabama delegation who greeted him warmly with hugs and handshakes.

Byrne is a former state senator and chancellor of the Alabama Community College System. He also ran unsuccessfully in 2010 for the Republican nomination to be governor of Alabama.

Byrne cruised to a December special election against a lightly funded Democrat to fill the seat vacated by former GOP Rep. Jo Bonner, who retired in August to work for the University of Alabama system.

But that victory came after a much more competitive — and combative — primary with businessman Dean Young. Byrne enjoyed the strong backing of many business groups, including the Chamber of Commerce. Young was a favorite of local tea party groups and refused to back Byrne after narrowly losing to him in the primary.

[h=1]Common Core Standards: Obamacare For Schools?[/h]
Often referred to as “Obamacore” by opponents, State Common Core Standards have been championed by the education industry, big government Democrats and establishment Republicans.

Created by the big government advocates of the National Governor’s Association and the Council of Chief State School Officers, the State Common Core Standards have been adopted by some 45 states...

ObamaCore is a good name for the Common Core Standards. Duncan and Obama pushed the Governors to establish a list of common core standards for the states. It all started with those two. The federal government has had strong hand in the development of the standards from day 1.

If you look at the standards carefully, you will see that they are watered down. For example, children in first grade are no longer required to learn contractions or compound words. Addition and subtraction facts to 10 are only required in first grade, rather than to sums of 18. I have taught for many years and can tell you that children in first grade can do much more. With Common Core Standards, most children will not be able to read on grade level because of so many missing skills. Teachers can only add 15% to the curriculum. (Talk about socialism!) There are some skills left out completely, such as ordinal numbers. I understand that students will no long study the classics, such as Shakespeare in high school.

Kids will not be ready for the workplace, so you know they will not be ready for college. Common Core is a way to get our nation dependent on the government.

LOL. He starts out by saying that the Tea Party wants to default on the debt. Using Democrat talking points? This guy is so full of sh*t.

He is a big supporter of Mitch McConnell.

We totally missed that Alabama race. Sounds like the Tea Party candidate put up a good fight. Too bad big money won with their shill candidate.

So barely teach children how to function, not how to survive. That way when / if they enter the work force, the employer has a valid excuse of not paying them what they're worth, which leaves more money for the CEOs and Stockholders, all of whom are far more important than the Child turned Worker Ant.

More Money in buying the Fascist partnership with Washington DC and State government politicians. A marriage of perpetual power between government and the elitists businesses.

They'll completely own your soul at the company store.

And that my friend, is what it's all about, well put.

The CEOs and lobby groups want to sleep with the devil. They will eventually pay. Ask Jamie Dimon about that.

For business, this is just the end of a long, incremental string of getting the taxpayers and government to cover their employee costs. Obamacare is the best example. They don't want to pay for employees healthcare (or pay them enough to pay for it themselves), so they want government to do it. They don't want to pay some workers enough to live on, so they want government to provide their workers with food-stamps. Crony corporatism, which under the right circumstances, turns into the full authoritarian, socialist state.
