Cell Phone Freedom Act

The Cell Phone Freedom Act is one of those pieces of legislation that will probably get no attention until it can be used in some sort of partisan politicking. Well, Rep. Griffith, out of Virginia, wanted to get a jump on it. The purpose of the bill is to "To prohibit the unauthorized remote shut down of a cellular phone".
