I have been working very hard canvassing. I completed 2 precincts here in Florida and I am trying to get a third done. The reason I can't is because the canvassing voter list system is royally screwed up. I have been trying to get the list for precint 228 in Pinellas county for a week now and the system will not work. I have sent emails complaining of this but nobody ever replies. I tried calling the campaign and their answering system will not even take a message. If I were an outsider looikng at this, the only conclussion I could come to was that the campaign people are deliberately trying to lose this election. If the campaign officials look at this thread, I'm telling you, you have some serious personel and management problems that are going to cost Dr Paul this election. I am very disappointed! :(
 
You have Valid Concern and Alarm! This should be handled immediately with the GOP and the local County Canvassing Board. Is anyone returning your calls from the Local Supervising Canvassing Board? Do you have anything in to them in written form?

If not, Keep a log of all the documented attempts and get your attempts in WRITING ASAP. Ron Paul Campaign top is relying on you to register any canvassing problems as soon as possible with the local canvassing authorities. I can try and get you some local number, but you are in the best position to get those numbers and email address, mailing address of Local Canvassing Authority.

It is my understanding that these lists are the same lists that all of the campaigns have.
 
The Problem was stated as "I have been trying to get the list for precint 228 in Pinellas county for a week now and the system will not work" the canvassing board or GOP can check the system to see if other candidates are having trouble downloading the list or have this list, or if there is a a problem. A quick call to Precint 228 canvassing board on access to list or any problems is worth a call for this RP Worker.

Please write a letter directly to Ron Paul and to his son, Rand Paul.

They need to know what is going on.

Tell them the same thing happened in NH.

This is really important. They have to get their act together soon!
 
Did you try again today? I saw a note posted that there was a major bug in the system that they just addressed, and supposedly fixed.
 
I don't know if we should be blaming this sort of thing on the official RP campaign. I got my lists from the FEC website. It's easy and convenient to blame everything on them, but I think we need to cut them a break. No one ever expected RP to make it this far with this huge a support system of grassroots people. I would bet that they're doing the best they can under ALL the intense pressures that come from being a major candidate they the powers that be are trying to squash like a bug.

David40, congratulations to you for the wonderful work you are doing. Please have patience till you get the list and maybe find another way to be helpful in the meantime. You are most appreciated. Thanks!

Yes, but the database isn't working properly. I've been fielding calls in our local office, and some of them say the same thing.

The campaign's voicemail box is full, and it won't take any more messages.

Sigh.
 
The system is back up and I got my list. I have half of the door hanger packets ready to go and I'm charging forward.
