Can we get Ron Paul back on the Daily Show / Colbert Report?

I know he was on Colbert a couple of months ago, but that was before he declared. Would it be possible to get them to put him back on the show? I recall reading Colbert and Stewart have higher ratings than the entirety of Fox News (minus Bill O'Reilly). Does anybody think it would be a) possible to lobby the Daily Show to get him on or b) an effective way to spread the message given that the audiences are (probably) more liberal and unlikely to be Republican primary voters?

Just a thought.

Well you could certainly try, but again there is the issue of targeting. The demographics, as you mentioned, don't really work for adding real support. They attract a young, liberal, no-registered-republican type of crowd. Young people generally talk a bunch about voting but don't actually go to the polls, and certainly none that aren't even republicans to begin with.

That said id love to see him on the show. Both men usually give him a fair shake. Funny you have to go to comedy central to get fair coverage.

Id rather see him on daily show than colbert. Stewart does not do fake interviews and usually makes good arguments that are liberal in bias but fair.
