Calling all Twitter users interested in organizing to trend Liberty topics...

We have created a Facebook group to network Liberty minded Twitter users with the goal of getting important topics to trend using scheduled Twitterbombs. Twitter is a great way to get our ideas in front of a national audience and this group gives us the ability to coordinate our efforts. Not everyone on twitter does facebook. Some gave in for twitter but still won't take facebook's 'real name' anti privacy policies, just so you know. Having said that, I think it is a great idea.

Very good point - I definitely understand why many people want nothing to do with Facebook! We use the FB group mainly to organize what we are going to do, and then tweet the date, hashtag, etc leading up to the event. Its easy to participate in this without being on Facebook. If anyone doesnt have FB but wants to stay up to date with when these are happening just follow me on Twitter - @jeffjotoole.

I think I have but those things disappear in a timeline. What I would suggest is you set up a new twitter account that ONLY tweets those out (you can tweet them too) so people can check the timeline to see 'what is up' and not just happen to see your tweet or not. If you follow a bunch of people the timeline goes pretty fast, as you know.

Like it or not Facebook is where "regular" people live and if you really want to spread our message effectively this is one of the places you have to do it. I have successfully converted more people to the Liberty movement by my FB posting than any other single thing I have tried the last 10 years. Just sayin.

Ok, we have the Twitter account set up now @TrendingLiberty. We are working on some nice graphics etc but go ahead and follow that account to get updates on the Twitterbombs! Have a great weekend everyone
