Buttigieg: Federal No-Fly List ‘Should Be on the Table’ for Violent Airplane Passengers

PAM KEY 31 Oct 2021

On Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg said that a federal no-fly list for violent airplane passengers “should be on the table.”

Anchor Dana Bash said, “I want to ask before I let you go about a flight attendant for American airlines who was hospitalized this week with a broken bone, several of them in her face after a passenger assaulted her mid-flight. So far this year, the FAA is investigating more than 900 incidents of violent or unruly passengers, and that’s up from 150 two years ago. Should there be a federal no-fly list for people who behave like this on U.S. flights?”

Buttigieg said, “I think that should be on the table. Look, it is completely unacceptable to mistreat, abuse or even disrespect flight crews. These flight attendants have been on the front lines of the pandemic from day one. And they’re up there, as the announcement always says, for your safety. There is absolutely no excuse for this kind of treatment of flight crews in the air or any of the essential workers, from bus drivers to aircrews, who get people to where they need to be. The FAA stands strongly with flight crews. That’s why you’re seeing some harsh penalties and fines being proposed, and we will continue to look at all options to make sure that flight crews and passengers are safe.”

But you'll happily fire them and send them into bankruptcy, for not agreeing to get jabbed with an unsafe and ineffective anti-CCP19 jab.

Still waiting for Mayor Buttplug to start doing something about the chain supply issues. It's almost as if the chain supply problem is intentional and in no way a mistake.

My definition of Violence apparently is much different than most peoples.

One form of Violence can be to DENY access to that which is needed. If you are literally dying of thirst and I DENY you water, that is a Form of Violence. Typically we refer to this as Neglect.

So by this definition I think this Federal No-Fly List should ALSO apply to EVERY scumbag politician that has tried to DENY us the ability to provide for ourselves because they meet their own definition of what it means to be Violent.

Lets see how THEY like it when THEY are PROHIBITED from Flying?

Lets even take it a step further:

DO NOT OBEY THEM.
DO NOT SERVE THEM.
DO NOT SELL TO THEM.
DO NOT PROVIDE FOR THEM.
DO NOTHING FOR THESE SCUM.

Cut them off and let them STARVE under the very Tyrannical Rules they demand to impose against us.

Passenger on plane from JFK punches flight attendant, forces emergency landing
A flight from New York to California was forced to make an emergency landing after a passenger physically assaulted a flight attendant on Wednesday.

According to American Airlines, Flight 976 from JFK International Airport to John Wayne Airport in southern California was diverted to Denver after the assault.

The airline initially said he punched a female flight attendant over his refusal to put a mask on in the first place.

However, ABC News has confirmed that the assault on the attendant was not related to a mask violation. A source familiar with the investigation said it was an unprovoked attack.

While in the aisle, the flight attendant accidently bumped the first class passenger earlier in the flight and quickly apologized. Later on, the passenger walked to the galley area, punched the flight attendant twice and then returned to his seat as if nothing happened.

Passengers say the man had to be duct taped to his seat, and they say alcohol was involved before things turned violent.

"I understand that they actually punched her twice," said one passenger. "I did see her walk back down the aisle afterwards. She had blood splattered on the outside of her mask."

"Yeah there was a doctor on the flight luckily, so I don't know," said another. "He said (her nose) wasn't broken but she was bleeding so they took her to the hospital."

The plane landed safely and taxied to the gate, where law enforcement removed the passenger and took him into custody. It eventually continued on to California, where it landed safely at John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana.

"We are outraged by the reports of what took place on board. Acts of violence against our team members are not tolerated by American Airlines. We are working with law enforcement to support our team member and pursue prosecution, and the individual involved in this incident will not be allowed to travel with us in the future," American Airlines said in a statement.

Well, he won't be flying with American Airlines again; and I really don't have a problem with that. Nor do I have any issues with American sharing details of the incident with other airlines and allowing them to decide. But if I worked for an airline that knowingly allowed the guy to fly on a flight I was working, I think I'd walk off the job.

THIS.

There is no reason for the feds to be involved in this.

But rule makers gonna make rules, so they'll just keep slathering them on.

Not only that, last I checked, there were already laws against that. But if the penalty involved all of the passengers delayed by that passenger giving him a lash if they want to, I might not be opposed to that.

See? Now that's the kind of forward thinking we need these days!

Yep, and if the guy is convicted and receives the maximum sentence, then he won't be be causing any more air travel violence for 20 years (except maybe on Con Air).
An American Airlines passenger who allegedly punched a flight attendant in the face faces up to 20 years in prison.

Brian Hsu, 20, was charged with assault and interference with a flight crew on Monday by the Department of Justice.

It seems like a pretty open and shut case. If they're really serious about what a threat that people like this pose, then I expect they'll not plead this down to something that's a slap on the wrist. But I kinda suspect that this guy won't get anywhere near 20 years.

What will Buttijudge do now? He just attacked a double protected class person. An Asian minority who is mentally ill. Why is Buttijudge engaging in Asian hate? Why does he hate the mentally impaired?
