It's great that the Dr. is showing his teeth so to speak, like in the Fox interview this morning. I'd like him to attack the validity of these polls they keep citing. Something like this exchange:

Reporter: Boy you raised all this money, but you're still only polling at 4%

Ron Paul: So you have one indicator which is "scientific" based off of a sample, that indicates I have hardly any support, and then you have another indicator, namely donations, which is a "real" measure of support -- which by the way continues to rise. So am I to listen to the poll indicator or the indicator of donations?

...or i'd like this response even more:

Ron Paul: Ok Wolf, I'll make a deal with you. If I really only get 4% of the votes in Iowa, then I'll resign my campaign, BUT if I get more support than what these polls show, will you resign from CNN?

...this is sort of like the exchange made with George Step.

heh, i like that final response you give there. if dr. paul did that, i'm sure they'd shut up about the low polls.

He should've made that resignation ultimatum to George Stephanopolous, who very strongly believes that Ron Paul doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell.

The Straw Polls say otherwise

Greetings All,

The next time he's asked about his poll numbers he should remind them that he has won more of the Republican straw polls than all of the other candidates combined. The other candidates have supporters who will answer a telephone poll. Ron Paul has supporters who will physically go vote for him.

Yes! And one more thing, they ask the question "So how do you translate the money that you've raised into real votes?"

Answer: "Well there's no need to "transfer" anything. When you have over a hundred thousand people donate to your campaign, those are your voters!". This isn't just a few people giving big donations, these are many many people giving small donations, every one of which will turn out to vote come election time.
