Browsers Except Firefox Eliminating The Option To Turn Off Surveilling "Hyperlink Auditing"
Most browsers -- except Firefox and Brave -- are eliminating the option to turn off surveilling "hyperlink auditing"
(I had to shorten the title to fit it)

NOTE: Brave, the Browser I pulled from the thread title due to length is a derivative of Firefox.
Ok, so you know how you can click "Back" in your Browser? Hyperlink Auditing allows every website you have visited to be sent to each new website, so they can view your entire Back History. Naah, not intrusive at all. For example, I put a link to the source website, but that source website will be able to see that you first started at google, then googled Ron Paul Forums, then Ron Paul Forums took you to the link I posted. It also tells Google each new site once youre off of Google, even if you block Google Analytics. The biggest risk is not to you as an individual, but rather it will draw the ire of the Censors who will eventually want Ron Paul and these very forums SILENCED PERMANENTLY. Once RPF is Depersoned online, then you will be considered a Thought Criminal for trying to come here. If we have anything like China does, then your ability to renew your Drivers License may be revoked, could be fired from your job, insurance denied, etc. They CAN ruin your life because of the sites you visit.
If you are smart enough to run Firefox, its easy to check if its on:
Type about:config in your Address Bar. then find "browser.send_pings" and make sure its value is "false". This "feature" is also "old" and they now use Beacon, so I also suggest searching for "beacon.enabled" and set that to "false" also. These types of Browser Features are the things that get you Depersoned.

Web site operators who want to spy on their users can add a "ping" directly to hyperlinks in their pages; these "ping" URLs are invisibly, silently by the browser when the user clicks the associated link, allowing third parties to be notified about your clicking activities.
When "ping" was standardized as "hyperlink auditing," browser vendors made it possible (if difficult) to disable it (for example, Safari had a hidden preference for this: "defaults write com.apple.Safari com.apple.Safari.ContentPageGroupIdentifier.WebKit2HyperlinkAuditingEnabled -bool false").
But in their latest versions, most browsers are removing this option. It's been eliminated from Safari and Chrome (and their derivatives like Chromium, Opera and Edge).
The exception is Firefox (and Brave, which is a derivative of Chromium), where hyperlink auditing is turned off by default.
With privacy and online tracking being such a large problem and major concern for many users, you would think that browser developers would give you the option to disable anything that could affect your privacy.
Unfortunately, this seems to be going in the reverse direction when it comes to hyperlink auditing.
