Brainstorm on how to achieve legal action against McCain and all non RP delegates

We need to do two things and I don't know how to do either:

a. form a PAC to track delegates for Ron Paul and not for Ron Paul so we can find legal reasons to replace them with RP delegates
b. attack McCain's ballots, FEC filings, anything and everything to drain his limited funds.

i've been thinking the best way and maybe only way is to ask people to do this of their own initiative in their area. how could we make it easy?

The only legal battles we wage should be ones we can win, like the LA GOP one.

Also, let us not get distracted from gaining delegates in MS, NJ, etc.

We have a major case against the LAGOP, and if the RNC give credentials to those illegal delegates then they have poisoned their own pool, and thus invalidates their own convention.
if enough delegates are with us... that would be the appropriate time for the rump.

do we have any idea how many exist? if we had a PAC, could we fund a legal team to find things we could win?

i just read yesterday someone on here lost their status because they're "not republican enough". we'd probably have plenty of suits like that against mccain

I have no problem supporting digging dirt on John McCain, draining John McCain financially, distracting John McCain, or distracting people away from John McCain.

His delegates are just people like you or I who care about their candidate and are only doing what they believe is right.

I say, go after John McCain all you like, but other than trying to educate his delegates, just leave 'em alone.

I see. I just imagined the elderly being pulled into legal action because they wanted to be a delegate for someone they could relate with!

Those that are delegates, need to use stealth. Do not let on you are an RP delegate, as a matter of fact, be sure to act as much like a McCain delegate as possible. The only way we can infiltrate is via stealth. We have to sneak in thru the back door, when no one is looking. I have applied to become a delegate, and am waiting to hear back. The email address I used in my application, is one I have not used here or any where else, related to RP. Its all about the stealth now.

Hmm as a matter of fact, this gives me a great idea for a domain name. Im going to go see if it is available. If it is, I may register it, and create a place where only verified RP delegates will have access. This could be interesting.

If you're going to spend $$$ fighting a case that could get Ron Paul the nomination, then spend it on the one silver bullet that would need to go all the way to the Supreme Court, and that is a challenge to John McCain's citizenship origin as "natural born."

I know, I know...this has been discussed and many think it's a lost cause; however, many times in legal matters, simply bringing up the charges is enough to label someone and place distrust/distaste in the minds of others. Even if it isn't true, it may be enough to knock McCain down.

Imagine the McCain campaign needing to spend millions trying to fend off allegations that he's not natural born and that he is not qualified to be President or Vice-President.

At this point, it seems moot to me to spend millions in multiple fronts fighting for 10-20 delegates here or there only to be dissappointed at the convention.

Only final question: if a PAC did go after McCain on this, and he began falling out of favor, would Mitt Romney reactivate his campaign??

Rumping a national convention would mean each state party would need to decide which convention was legit. This would mean that states would have certified different nominees for ballot access in the general election. If two traditionally red states have different nominees, then you have removed the entire purpose of having a national party. Solidarity.

It would seem that there are much simpler means to destroy the Republican party than going through the motions of a rump convention if that is indeed your objective. What you're proposing is like sending more watts to a lightbulb in the hopes that the bulb burns out rather than just going over and flipping a switch to turn it off. I'm not suggesting that your goals are necessarily wrong, but the methods seem inefficient and prone to failure.
