Great event! Every campaign needs to put on regular outings like this, other state reps are a bonus of course. In nicer weather, neighborhoods are usually sprawling with people doing yard work or kids playing and encountering campaign house hoppers passing out lit makes a very hearty impact and lasting impression. Every precinct that is covered by lit drops sees a vastly higher percentage of the vote in one's favor.
