As US forces are bombing Iranian Militias in Syria and Iraq.
The brookings has come out with a long article admitting there is no clear military soultion to the Syrian conflict and there are only reasons the US forces are in Syria.
Disrupting the Syrian economy and trying to Iranian influence.
The Iranian influence is a bit comical considering that the US govt had no problem supporting Sunni radical Rebel groups agaisnt the Syrian shia and minority christian population during the Syrian uprising.
Trying to disrupting the Syrian economy in the hopes of Syrian people rising up agaisnt Assad and its goverment isn't going to work.
