Pakistan Pervez Musharraf.. think about it elections are coming up and she conviently gets killed now? then again we prb shouldn't make an issue out of this at the moment, given we're trying to promote Paul and we don't want more conspiracy theroies attached to his supporters

But I suspect the president played a major role in this.. do you see the parallels between this and Kennedy's assanation?

-both got killed before elections
-both we're in vechicles and greeting fans
-both we're shot and the blame went on "lunatics and extremists"
-I think the government played a role in both murders

Benazir Bhutto wrote an e-mail in which she blames Musharraf in the case of an assassination. That is all she said, so it does not claim that he was directly involved, but it does say that he was somehow behind it. If he didn't support the attack, he didn't give her the security that she needed. Either way her supporters are already incredibly angry at Musharraf.

My guess is that Musharaff was responsible ... and he has no problem blaming Al Qaeda for it.

That is the only place where I've seen this Al Qaeda claiming responsibility statement. CNN just said nobody has made any claims so far, but that the Musharraf people have made up their minds that it was the extremists.

Musharraf = Islamic extremists.

Al Qaeda is a very convenient excuse for every state-sponsored assassination or terrorist attack. But who backs Al Qaeda? I'm sure Musharraf has backed the terrorists in Pakistan.

Musharraf makes the call, the extremists do all the dirty work.

I wouldn't even be surprised if Musharraf was protecting bin Laden.
