No, that's not in favor of IP necessarily. It's merely an observation that, almost every campaign season, a politician goes about using a song and then the band comes out and says "OMG no! I never authorized that! Thief!" and it never sticks. Odds are it would stick with Dr. Paul. Anything that he does that would help make him seem more "kook" and "fringe," after all.
 
Twisted Sister supported Arnold's Recall campaign, I'd suspect they have a conservative/libertarian/anti establishment streak to them (I know Arnold sucks, just saying this is how the people viewed him that summer)
 
Bob Dylan's "The Times They Are a-Changin'." It always makes me think of Barry Goldwater and Ron Paul. Incidentally, Dylan said that Goldwater was his favorite politician.

I asked Arlo Guthrie for an anti-inflation (I mean the real inflation-increase of the money supply) song as it's the greatest tax on the poor.Maybe he'll do it? who knows. Does it have to be a 'song' in the normal sense? Why not a list of demands shouted out by a choir.
