Ben Ferguson, WREC 600 Memphis, Lies On Air!
Greetings All,
I'm a bit angry right now. This morning I called into the Ben Ferguson Show on WREC 600 AM, out of Memphis, TN.
Ben Ferguson, while claiming to be a Conservative, is very anti-Ron Paul.
I was the first caller on, I mentioned that Ron Paul is the only Conservative left in the race, and that the Republicans would be hard pressed to beat the Democrats if they nominated McCain or Romney who are essentially democrats themselves.
We had a bit of back-and-forth, I scored some good points, Ben was dismissive of Ron Paul, not a big deal.
But, the next caller was also upset at the lack of a true Conservative in the race, and said he didn't know much about Ron Paul.
To which Ben Ferguson replied, "if you want to know about Ron Paul, go to his website at prisonplanet.com, that will open your eyes".
He didn't say this was a website that supported Ron Paul, he said "go to Ron Paul's website at prisonplanet.com..."
To me this is more than a simple mistake, as I know for a fact that Ben Ferguson isn't so stupid as to believe that prisonplanet.com is the official website for Ron Paul.
But he sure wanted his listeners to believe that.
I have contacted the West Tennessee Ron Paul Campaign Headquarters, the National Campaign, and I called the FCC to file a formal complaint.
Ben Fergusons email is [email protected]
