Perhaps Evander Holyfield can follow up his current run on “Celebrity Big Brother” with a stint on “Duck Dynasty.”

The retired boxer is catching heat after making anti-gay statements on the UK version of the reality show, likening homosexuality to a handicap that can be fixed with medical treatment.

Holyfield also claimed that being gay is “a choice” that “ain’t normal.”

The comments came as Holyfield debated the matter of homosexuality with housemate Luisa Zissman, TMZ reports.

“If you were born and your leg would turn this way, what would you do? You’d go to the doctor and get it fixed back right,” Holyfield theorized. “You can’t say that because they were born that way, you can’t move that.”

Holyfield was scolded by the show’s producers after the exchange.

“[E]xpressing these views will be extremely offensive to a many people,” Holyfield was told.

Holyfield replied that he was “telling her my opinion.”a

Tomorrow being gay will be like being black; an entitlement. A gay person will probably be granted more privileges and rights than a heterosexual. Don't discriminate!

If black people had the same rights as everybody except they couldn't get married, should we stop legislation to allow them to get married in fear that some day they may have more rights than white people? Is that how it works? So this is like a WWI battle with trenches and enemy lines? Why can't we all be on the same team?

Thank you!

/agree, same team

Marriage Licenses earlier in our history were only required for Interracial Marriages. Now, somehow, everyone needs to get Govt Permission to get married. Unless you're in Japan, where apparently you can get married to an instance of your favorite video game character.

The thing is, same team, if we all want to be treated the same by those groups that are discriminated against today, we need to treat them with respect right now. Ethnicity and Sexual Orientation are immaterial, human is human.

Holyfield needs to let Iron Mike Tyson whisper something in his ear...

At least Holyfield has an excuse, he's taken a lot of shots to the head over the years (and he was no genius to start).

Sorry dude I don't do team anything.

I don't tow party lines and I certainly don't do anything because somebody else thinks it's a good idea.

I live with my own moral and ethical code and share it with my family..........Often it coincides with ideas expressed here or I wouldn't be around.

Fuck a bunch of "team" anything!

BIBLE POWER!
Romans 1 said:
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27
And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

Ya' know dude, I'll stand and fight for your rights to preach the bible just as I'll stand and fight for the homos rights to the same state and federal benefits that heterosexual people get.

It doesn't have to be one or the other!

For the millionth time, gays and heterosexuals have the same rights. The only difference between gay marriage and straight marriage is that gays don't get a state license of marriage, which, last time I checked, was not a right. A straight person can't marry someone of the same sex just as much as a gay person can't marry someone of the same sex. NEWS FLASH: They both can! Just don't bother getting the license and you're good to go.

Nobody's going to stop gays from getting married. They just can't get a license, and the benefits of getting one of those are questionable at best. We really should be fighting against the state, but dannno, you seem to want to phrase it as a gay vs. straight paradigm, when really we need to try to shift the focus away from that. What's worse, is that many of you realize this is a false paradigm and yet you keep on pushing for "gay rights" because you want the government to oppress people equally. Why don't we just focus our energy on getting the government out of the way? Get them to stop giving marriage licenses to straight people, not start giving them to gays. That doesn't help liberty at all.

It's not about rights, it's about government privileges funded by taxpayers.

Atleast you are 50% right.

Nobody has a right to federal benefits.

No I'm 100% right, you just agree with 50% of what I typed.

What or who gives you the authority to dictate what any other man may extract from the state?

(And since it is important to you, I am a Christian.)

I don't want married couples to get benefits, I just want that legally recognized marriages should be limited to a man and a wife.
