I'm a very passionate Ron Paul supporter even though I'm not an American. Nothing would make me happier if we could get him elected.

Please set a side anything you know about the political process and how it worked in the last 80 or 90 years and do our movement and Ron Paul a huge favor and spend your time and watch the following documentaries:

I may be wrong but after watching these my conclusions are:
-Ron Paul needs a good PR firm to help him package the message
-we need to hire a firm to use focus groups of GOP voters to find out how they feel about government
-we need to pretend we're selling a product -liberty- for votes and we have to figure out a way to package it accordingly

And last but not least if we as movement don't realize that majority of voters don't cast their votes based on reason as their guide, we will fail again come 2012 primaries.

I know it's 4 hours, but just imagine if spending 4 hours to learn vital info that would guarantee us a win in 2012 is all it took, shouldn't you risk your time and watch it?

I think I'll keep bumping this thread until the 2012 elections are over. Maybe in time people will finally wake up and start to focus on the crucial aspects of the political process.

But do you think the RP grassroots will in any way take direction from some Hollywood PR team?

The grassroots are gonna do what they want to do, regardless. I think this last weeks CPAC debacle should put that argument to rest.
I'm talking about people that are gonna find ways to spin his image and get him positive media coverage. Obama didn't win because of his political team, but his hollywood team. I mean, they actually got people to believe he is a great orator, which he is the farthest thing from.

I'm in agreement, he needs a top notch hollywood team, not a political team.

Don't worry. Rumor has it that there is a top Hollywood Producer and a Billionaire who are collaborating on a secret campaign blitz for Ron Paul. ;)

what we really need is to find the next Ron Paul, or better yet an army of RP-minded folks. At his age, I don't think he has a chance of being elected and even if he were he needs a house and senate as well as a judicial branch filled with people like him to alter the course of history and path of destruction this country is on. I believe his legacy will be the books he has written and movement he helped inspire upon which the rest of us younger one will have to pick up the torch of liberty and manifest what RP had in mind when he first took up office.

btw, what country do you live in? I wish most americans cared as much as you a non-citizen does.

Slovenia.

I care because I realize the role America has in the word today. I mean you are the defacto police(bully) of the world and the defacto banker(thief) of the world and I just don't want to live as your(the elite running the country) slave. And the only way I can see this change is if America changes.

Your English is excellent. Is that the norm in Slovenia?

Thanks for the compliment.

Our schools do teach English from a pretty early age on but I attribute my language skill to talking with American and British people on voice comms while playing games online.
