I doubt Rand is on board at the moment, but if something changed I don't think it is completely out of the question.

Well, when and if whatever that might be happens, I'm sure Rand will make sure we know.

That doesn't answer my question at all... What is the better alternative? Allow a Trump supporter delegate to become the 1,237th Trump delegate? Or another secret squirrel?

If EVERY delegate at the convention was a Rand supporter, that would be the best outcome - even if they were bound to vote for someone, the whole point is that at some stage they may become unbound and can vote for Rand.

There is literally NOTHING to lose by becoming a delegate for a winning candidate and going to the convention, no matter who the winning candidate is.

I suppose that the point of this approach is to make sure that Trump does not get the nomination out right. So, if this is the approach one wishes to take then becoming a delegate so as to make sure of a brokered convention would be the route to go.

If all of Trumps delegates were actually Rand supporters, that would give us the best shot at winning the nomination for Rand because Trump will have the most. If the only Rand supporters are Rand delegates, that won't give us a shot, because there won't be many.

Come on guys. This is from the oz playbook, third act. Now we just sneak into the witch's castle to save Dorothy (America). All we have to do is pretend to be Trump supporters until we can no longer be so. We just have to be loud and obnoxious - we can do that.

Besides, trying to steal the nomination from a valid GOP candidate is wrong.

The establishment is set on taking any Trump win away at the GOP National convention. They will put in whoever they want, but we can stop them.

Delegates are only bound on the first vote, if no candidate reaches the magic number then delegates are free to vote for anyone.

Answer: Those that show up and their county and district and state conventions..simply you and I.

The challenge at the convention is going to happen, but we not only can stop it but we can use Trump supporters who are going to be outraged to put in Rand Paul or at the very least have Rand be the VP.

Um, no.

Seeing how the McDonald is being set up for a convention fight, after having won so many primaries, caucuses, and delegates, I'm wondering how we ever thought we could achieve a contested convention win given our performances in the 08 and 12 primaries.

Oh yeah, Ron actually had unimpeachable conservative credentials that we expected people to gravitate toward at the convention. And, we actually thought our fellow conservatives would play by their own rules. Instead, he was blacked out and dirty tricked all the way.

McDonald? It's being set up that he's not wanted from the get go; add in the shenanigans, yuk.

But for Rand, who got nowhere near what Ron did in the previous cycles? And what we now know about the depravity of this party's conventioneering tactics?

Our delegates are already chosen. The county party convention will be soon. I stopped going once I saw how corrupt they are.
