Make a meetup group to have a drink at each establishment and leave a tip with a card telling the wait staff about "Keep the Tip"

How fun is that?

This is the best tool for us to tell people about Ron Paul!

Just like in 1776 when the Sons Of Liberty went to Pubs to talk about Liberty!

Yep: Can you imagine every bartender and waiter across the country promoting Ron to his customers? Or at least spreading the message by having flyers up or handing out pamphlets?

Those are great cards, I'm going to be writing "Bring Our Troops Home, too!" on the back of all of them since I'm in such a progressive area.

Good Idea!

Isn't it a blessing that Ron Paul brought this bill up at this time. So Patriots around the Nation can go into the Pubs and spread the word of Liberty about RON PAUL 2012 as well as talk about the "Keep The Tip."

and don't go alone, take your local sons of liberty group with you! ( YAL, LOLA, C4P, RP2012 and other Liberty minded groups)

I'll send LOLA a message too.

Do your Paul Revere thing!

We have been building on this for a while.

We are building a network, including SMS... We already own quite a bit of the web real estate on the issue...

Be careful with messaging. If you make it all about Ron Paul 2012, you will lose interest and votes. If you make it about Tips, you will gain interest and votes. In the former you will be seen as pandering electioneers, the latter you will be seen as activists. Both will get the name Ron Paul into peoples heads...

We built the first flier with this in mind, (helped with messaging by politcal and media/marketing professionals)

Simple, comic, and gets the name in their heads

And you guys should like the next stage, as well ;)

Good Job! I know people have been working on this and it has been around but we are not utilizing this tool for all it is worth!

I'm trying to get some people fired up to do some Pub Crawls this weekend ;)

And your right.... stay on subject! This may be the very first message about Liberty they have ever heard in their life. Don't get cerebral and Overload their brains. Stay on message. But nothing wrong with having an additional message if they are ready to talk about it. Most of us know how much the person receiving the message is ready for.

How many bar staff vote? How many are registered Republican? How many Republicans visit bars compared to people who are liberal or apolitical?

Why not focus on likely Republican primary voters who are almost guaranteed to vote in the Republican primary? We know exactly where to find them - at their homes after 5pm.

How many have heard of a presidential candidate proposing a "Keep Your Tips Act"?
If you would like to achieve electoral victory, then you have to go after the people who are already guaranteed to vote, not spending very vaulable time convincing people to vote. You'll have much more quantitative success convincing guaranteed voters to vote for our guy than you will convincing apolitical, liberals, Democrats, independents etc to register to vote, change their registration to Republican, actually go vote, AND vote for our guy... Why go for 3 or 4 steps to victory when we can instead take 2 steps? Just sayin'....

Ive printed out like 50 of these to give to NYC waiters and waitresses. I think it's a fantastic long-term strategy.

Oh, wow. This will be brilliant to hand out to the bartenders at the gay bars here in Atlanta!

It's really hard getting a lot of us gays to change our minds politically since the democrats have done such a wonderful job brainwashing the entire community into believing democrats are the pro-gay party ;) If this, in addition to Paul essentially endorsing marriage privatization don't do the job, I don't know what will.

Thanks!
