I took a different approach this time and stuck to promoting Ron Paul without attacking the host.

Notice how quickly he cut and ran when I attacked the flawed premise of the "We can't allow Iran to have nukes" argument, by dismissing the underlying assumption that they are even developing nukes in the first place.

NEVER allow an adversary to base a point on a flawed foundation. ATTACK the foundation and their phony argument collapses.

After they dumped me, the host and sidekicks then resume the whole "isolationist" crap.

Go to about 16:00 of the attached audio and wait for Mike from "Paterson, NJ"

Wrong approach.

What you should have said is this: "I've heard Ron say recently that if he thought the national security of this country was under a credible threat he said he'd investigate, present the evidence to the people through the congress and ask them to declare war and then he'd be all out, he'd know exactly who to fight, he'd have everyone behind it, win it and get it over with quick. He just wouldn't pretend the U.S. Constitution allows him to act like a king and make unilateral decisions.. Now how can anyone not be satisfied with that position?"

That's how you get these blood thirsty fuckers. You show them what the law of the land is, how it's fit to deal with the issue and that Ron would deal with the issue following the law. They virtually can't argue with that.

I'm of course referencing this video:

I totally disagree...

You see, if LIES are not explicitly called out as LIES....then you end up conceding points which should never be conceded.

WMD's IS A DAMN LIE!

Why let our enemies off the hook so easily by accepting flawed premises? Challenge them to defend their lies and watch them squirm.

To accept the flawed premise that Iran is actually building nukes is walking right into the neo-con's trap.

Hazek makes a good point, but so did sofia. I think it is sometimes important to talk down to these hosts with a condescending attitude. It shows people you don't have to believe what the hosts are saying just because of the way they say it. And linking Iran to the Iraq debacle shows the neocons have no credibility.

Yes...I think the trick is to show up the almighty host as an empty Wizard of Oz in front of his captive audience....but without insulting him personally as I did in a previous call-in.

The lies MUST be challenged and the debate thus redirected on OUR terms.

We can't be "isolationist" because "You can get anywhere in the world in a couple of hours".

Cognitive dissonance at its finest. Or worst. Or whatever.

What a silly dipshit that chick is.

Since the days of colonial times, America has been the LEAST "isolationist" of all nations. American ships could be found in ports all over the world, and foreign cargo ships docked in our harbors.

Franklin, Jefferson were well traveled men who couseled us to have good relations and brisk trade with all nations. How the F is that "isolationism"...

What a stupid propaganda slogan! Sort of like calling people "racist" is they dont like Obama....or "anti-Semite" if don't grovel before the Israel Lobby.....only non thinking dumb asses use these simplistic labels
