This guy, John Hawkins, says he consults for the Duncan campaign, so we can see where his bias lies. I've cut & paste so we don't have to give his crappy site more traffic.

Attack Of The Ron Paul Loons

Yesterday, I posted my favorite email from a Ron Paul fan in response to The Conservative Case Against Ron Paul, column of mine that ran at Townhall.

I was going to leave it at that, but the email is still pouring in from the Pauliacs (the column must be posted on some of his fan pages) and there's so much great material that I couldn't bear to leave it at one post. Here are just some of the full (or excerpted) emails that I've received over the last few days from Ron Paul fans...

Enjoy!

"Even more proof that the GOP doesn't know what Conservatism means. and, by the way, 9/11 WAS AN INSIDE JOB!!! The government's conspiracy theory doesn't hold water. With every angle of the trade towers getting hit overplayed to death on TV, why won't they show any of the supposed 100 Pentagon security videos od the supposed plane hitting the Pentagon??? Huh? Oh, because there aren't any! And why did building 7 collapse at free fall speed, symetrically when it wasn't even hit by a plane and why did the BBC eport that it fell 20 minutes before it did? Either your head is up your *ss or you're a gatekeeper too. Either way, burn in hell!"

"John,

From some who has worked in the national media for over 7 years, This is clearly a slam piece aimed at discrediting a Presidential Canidate. If you haven't noticed, even people who are completely in Support of Ron Paul have expressed this in their responses. Look pal, it's one thing to have a legitimate case against a canidate, another thing to do a superficial and shallow job trying to discredit someone. You are way too obvious here."

"Yes there is a North American Union and whether you like it or not you will be trading in your dollars for Amero's in the near future....Yes you will have to swipe your national id card to by food, this is coming and if your not a good slave you may lose the privilege of buying your food! You better wake up because if you don't you will be licking some Mexican soldiers boots after he smashes the butt of his gun in your child's head.... You better figure out what the hell your talking about before you shoot yourself in the foot with you bull sh*t again."

"You're just another run of the mill political "anal-ist" that would sell their country out for a few shekels.

....You have to keep up the neo-fascist boot licking or you'll be out of a job.

Hitler, Mao and Stalin all had their puppets in the media. You would have been a perfect fit for them!"

"you call Security and Prosperity Partnership Of North America a myth? its the end of the constitutional union of the states and the formation of a super state union of nations ...

he is the only true republican.. look at the founding fathers

questionm dont blindly trust the government thats constitutional

wake up ron paul is the only patriot"

"You made some good points about Ron Paul. You also missed the mark on a couple.

The North American Union is likely to happen. The best and perhaps most
compelling evidence is given by Lou Dobbs, the BBC and the CFR documents.

As well, there is evidence that the 911 airplanes did not cause the towers to
fall. Good science on this and worth looking into. It's all about physics and improbabilities and evidence. Worth a look."

"Ron Paul tells the truth; You can buy a copy "Building a North American
Community" from Barnes & Noble. President Bush is following the plan.
It is funny how people in government get upset when you talk about the U.S.
Constitution. It is almost like how teachers feel uncomfortable when discussing the Bible at school."

"...As for the Peace and Prosperity Perspective, and the meeting of the North
American Leaders in Waco in 06. You need to do your homework the US Info office does not deny a North American Union or a Super Highway with a Port in Kansas City. Several Canadian Members of Parliment know it is real and they are trying to stop it. I'm afraid that the Mexican Government is even more corrupt than ours and does not go against their leaders and the under classes have little access to what their government leaders are doing.

As for the WTC #7 building falling and not being hit, and at free fall speed, if you do not find something wrong, I can give you the address of lots of third graders and if you tell them the official version they will laugh you out of the building.

Don't be like the drive by media be objective and you can follow the money to
the North American Union and if you dig, just a scratch you will find out it is real."

I consult for the Duncan Hunter campaign.

That guys a retard. He can barely write. However, some of the emails he got are rather illiterate too, heh. Oh well. Eff him.

I really do hate it when people go on these rants and don't even care to use a spelchkr. that being said, if this guy got swarmed with emails and those are the worst three he could find (that being his goal, I'm sure), then thats not too bad. He obviously isn't going to post anything too intellectually honest.

As for the NAU and the SPP, the media stooges are really overlooking this in a big way. This is so mainstream that I'm really dissapointed that more people don't care to learn about it. Unless of course, these people are bought and paid for...but noooo. This is America! That would never happen!

Sure we all can dismiss this guy. Frankly, I've never heard of him. However, I'm sure he has many readers and those readers now have an opinion of Ron Paul and his supporters which is not favorable. The likelihood of getting those readers to vote for Ron Paul is minimal.

Actually, Duncan Hunter is pretty conservative. His big claim to fame is building his own fence in is district, not waiting for the federal government to do it for him. I"m not an expert, but I believe that it worked - their town's quality of living improved.

He's not a conservative as Ron Paul, that's for sure, but on other boards I find it is easy to converse with Hunter and Tancredo supporters. We disagree on some issues, but they don't call me names when we do. They're well read, like we are, and know the issues inside and out. They're not cheerleaders, like the FT camp is.

I think there's a significant chance that the Tancredo / Hunter camps could come over to Ron Paul, but there's a rumor that Hunter was only a place-holder for "Ferd" and is going to be Fer's VP pick. There's even a quote floating around out there that Hunter even said he'd like to see Thompson enter the race.

he would have slandered dr. paul anyway. there isn't anything we could do.

It's a waste of time...

Hawkins and his 80% of his posters over there view libertarians as either conservatives who do drugs or as nutjubs in KKK Patriot Groups. You're not going to be able to change their minds over there...it's a complete waste of time.

Hawkins is backing a limp horse...he knows it, we know it, everyone knows it.

Leave them to their own devices. They have Islamofascists, liberals, secular humanists, evolutionists, mexicans, foreigners, atheists, and any other threat to their american way of life to verbally slay over there.

true

but the emails that were written to him were not meant to be published. I don't write emails the same way I would write a letter to the editor that I wanted published.

Is it even legal to publish the content of an email with out the writers permission?

I think we should point out that Duncan Hunter is paying this guy money to smear Ron Paul.

There were TONS of more articulate comments posted in response to his tripe, he cherry picked out the more loony ones.

Hate to say it, but there really is a serious chance that the loons and maniacs are hurting Paul's image among the mainstream. Ron Paul's is the voice that needs to be heard, not that of people who usurp his name in order to put forward their own views.

Yeah , and the arguments in the e-mails are pretty much correct, I'm upset MINE didn't make the list :( ,,, maybe it was too insulting? heheh

FYI, have him post something negative about another candidate and see if he gets as many e-mails, this is just proving to the public that Ron has a strong following, and thats good because it is early on...
