Atlas Shrugged Movie and Ron Paul

I have recently read a bit about the movie Atlas Shrugged which will be coming out in 2008 - great timing for the RP campaign.

I was wondering if there was a way people could try and get some big name celebs on the RP bandwagon. If you check wikipedia about the film adapation, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atlas_Shrugged#Film_adaptation , it mentions that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are big fans of Ayn Rands novels. Just wondering if they might receptive to the Ron Paul message.

Is there any way people could bring these celebs to the RP message - great for exposure, plus might enhance funding. It would be difficult as Hollywood normally jumps on the Democrat side, however this year it is worth a shot.

Good ideas, except Angelina Jolie was recently accepted to membership in the CFR. Not exactly an organization who wants to see American values restored. I personally think she is a globalist bitch, pardon my french.

I actually heard the news yesterday and have been thinking ever since.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but CFR is in no way good for the people. I do believe that it can be very easy for people like that to do the things claimed to happen in CFR.

But I had this impression of Jolie as a freedom lover. Humanitarian etc. When i heard she joined CFR I was a bit shocked, and my first impression was not sell out. Yes it seems that way in every way, but I really hope shes just that clever to be able to infiltrate something that big. I can only hope.

There are stories on the Internet (I don't know how true they might be) that Ayn Rand was the mistress of one of the Rothschilds men and that the story, Atlas Shrugged, serves as a blue-print as to what the Global Government has in store for America.

I am not certain one way or the other, having loved the book a long time ago. However, it's interesting to see the executive branch's recent efforts through the Patriot Act, Mililtary Commissions Act, the recent declaration Bush wrote for himself to allow him to declare himself dictator, the long history of Executive Orders which clearly outline a national disaster scenario, the arrival of the North American Union, the Int'l Economic Emergency Act, Emergency Powers Act, the building of detention facilities across the country, and so on and so on, - all pointing toward careful and knowing preparation for just such an event.

I'm not sure that Atlas Shrugged is being made into a movie at this point in our history by the good guys for the good guys.

I believe her dad would be more of a Ron Paul supporter - I also believe that they fall out over politics regularly.

Interesting. According to IMDB the screenplay is complete and scheduled for production this year, release in 2008.

My concern is they water down the message of the book, or twist it.
